I was wondering the same thing.  My daughter recently used my info for  a 5k with a sketchy company.

I too received this letter.  The return address was the same.  I went to    www.vpike.com    and typed in this address.  
WOW.... you can even left click and move around the street.
Interesting.

My husband received a letter from CCD Research, LLC, Patricia Smith,  1356 Holly Ave, Holly Hill, FL32117 offering a free Android Tablet Computer.  All he has to do is test it and fill out a brief survey.  Didn't all the number but Googled CCD and was forwarded here.  Glad I didn't call, it seems a scam to get phone numbers to sell to telemarketers.


Thanks for the input and anyone else that gets a letter, like someone said, nothing in life is free.  lol

Received a letter for a free Android tablet.

I also received this letter today offering a free Android Tablet blah blah blah...from a Patricia Smith, 1356 Holly Ave, Holly Hill, FL.  I googled the address and you can see the house...certainly not a business office.  I then went to the Volusia County website (Holly Hill is in Volusia county...Google is wonderful) and did a property search on the address...the owner is listed as Margaret E. Sciara, NOT Patricia Smith.  Gee, think they're legit?

WOW, I called and attended presentation  a year ago. Really enjoyed vacation, went to Vegas with my girlfriend (wife  now) on the mini vacation and well now we are expecting a little one. lol My tablet is awesome...so what are you all bitching about?

Got the same letter. from a patricia smith. first of all if u google earth the address, u come up with a shack looking of a house.also what cought my eye is in the letter it says a Android tablet computer. A computer REALLY. a computer is a computer and tablet is a tablet.

I should send them a letter to the adress telling them they are scammers and when you put there info in the computer al of this comes up. Dumbasses

I fell for this!! I called and was so gullible to believe that this could actually be an opportunity. After getting on the internet to investigate before we attended "the Show", I couldn't believe all these responses about this same company! It was from Patricia Smith, same address, although there were not any misspellings, just a grammar error.
I just want to say thank you for posting and keeping us informed!!!

Seems there are 2 scams runinng here.  One for traavel, and one for the "Android Tablet Computer."  The travel scam was mailed to my husband, and I got the tablet scam.  How are they getting info on both of us?  Additionally, our last name is spelled wrong in the phone book, but the letters are addressed correctly.  If I ever find out who sold my info, I will be sure to prosecute.

Well, they have changed their number: 888-986-8170.  Then the woman gave me a direct number to CS 1-855-796-6573.  When I started asking questions, she got pissy and I hung up.  I blocked my number before I called.  I think I will report this to the Attorney General.  Also, There is no website for this research company.  Also, a Tablet is a Tablet a Computer is a Computer.  That is when she got frazzled.

I did.  And I also filed a complaint with the FTC today.

My husband received this in the mail.  I new it was a scam I just wanted to see what I could find out online.  Showed him the Goggle Maps.  I think these people would make more and maybe feel better about themselves if they got a real job!

I received a Patricia Smith today in Holly Hills, Florida.  The offer is too good to be true. The first give away that this isn't legit
is that the person had problems writing her name.  The second was that the name was written while
the envelope was computer printed script.  Strange to do one and not the other. :(

The phone number has changed to xxx-8173 to xxx-8170.  Probably they have some system setup
to route the calls to another state/country, etc. to hide themselves.

I wish that I had a barcode scanner so as to read what nonsense is printed on the bottom of the form. I probably could scan it with my printer and find somewhere on the Internet to decipher it but it isn't worth
my time.

I'm sure that the computer is free, you just have to pay postage, handling, and some other fees that probably ONLY add up to $90 or so, probably twice the price of the 'computer' that you'll receive.  Remember, nearly
anything can be called a "computer", even a calculator technically speaking.
