Just received a voicemail from this number stating it was a special investigator and they were calling regarding a restraining order that had been filed against me for a former married name from many years ago.   After reading these posts I believe it is a debt collector attempting to get me to return the call under false pretenses.

I also register call from this number and for a minute was confused then scared until I google them. So glad this set is here.

I received a voice message last night from Ms. Lacy indicating that I needed to return the call to 972-234-8700 with a case #.  Mind you, this lady had no Texas accent whatsoever.  The message said something like a subpoena was attempted with no avail or either i was involved in a case of mistaken identity.  That should have been my heads-up right there....which one is it lady!  So I called back only to find out that I so-called opened credit on 5/14/2007 with Credit One Srvs (who the heck are they) and didn't pay them.  I check my credit twice a year and I have no creditors by that name.  Since 2007, I have bought two properties and not once has this aforementioned creditor been listed on my report.  The person I spoke to was a "fast talker" offering me settlement terms. He even stated that they had been trying to reach me for over 3 years now.  I told him that he was a damn lie as I have had the same telephone number that they magically reached me on 5 minutes ago since the summer of 2008. I politely told him that I would see him in court and he hung up on me.  I called back 15 minutes later asking to speak to a supervisor and the same man answered the phone stating that he was the supervisor..........I called this morning on three (3) separate occasions and three (3) different phones and the same man answered the phone.........................

I received the same kind of call. Same story. No information, just that they were from the Legal Securities Bureau and I was going to be sued in 24-48 hours. These scams are rampant. Just don't call back.

I am appalled what can be done about this ... why would anyone do this and what are they getting out of this?????

Someone claiming to be a Detective WIlliam Oaks left a convaluted voice mail message stating that there was a complaint filed against me.  He left an affidavit number and this number.  He said that either myself or my attorney needed to call them in 24 to 48 as a restraining order had been filed against me.  When I called, I got a voice message system.  

Hopefully someone or some agency can stop these people, it's annoying.

It appears it's been transferred to "Americans" now.  First, a Orby Shelton...(Orby)??, then a Donnie Brooks.  The call back numbers are 972-234-8700 and 704-464-0168.  Do not call back at all.!!!  Once they establish contact----the calls are relentless.  Warn all of your references as well.

I received a voice message on my house phone from an Agent William Oaks regarding a restraining order against me! Lmao! They called last week telling me about a loan I took out back in 2007 (which I am completely clueless about). They had my social totally incorrect and would not provide me any information as to which company the loan was for so I can determine if someone is using my identity. I asked for an address for their company and they would not provide that information as well. These people are a joke!! PEOPLE BEWARE! DON'T PAY THEM ANYTHING UNTIL THEY CAN PROVIDE YOU WITH DOCUMENTATION VERIFYING THE ALLEGED DEBT!

I came back from being out of work due to illness to a message from Special Investigator William Oaks regarding a restraining order that has been filed against me...etc...etc.  I've had these calls before so I immediately googled the name and there were lots of complaints filed.

They use this name and other numbers too, completely bogus.  Ok Mr. Special Investigator Chis Logan, any relation to fictional  Det. Mike Logan on Law & Order?  What a loser and scam artist.  Do not call this loser back or waste your time thinking about these bottom feeder liars.
