I recieved a call from  darling brown and was told my wages would be garnished if i did not return the call within 48 hours the number i was given was 972-234-8700 i called and googled the number  and legal security bureau as i sat on hold and got this page thankyou so much for this site cause there it was the same name and number  thank goodness i never spoke to anyone

Just got a call from "Richard Wiliams"  and was told to call 972-234-8700 regarding my court case.  Same person called by FIL just before calling me.  My FIL managed to get more info than I did (the guy kept trying to hang up on me)...they told me FIL if I called them they would put me in touch with an investigator in my state.  Glad it took me all of 60 seconds to find out I was not the only one they were trying this on.

Securities buearu left a message for father at my number, said something about a subpena. Called back and wouldn't talk to us only my father. I looked up the number on internet and found this site. They are horrible people. My dad is sick and they try to get us worried about stuff that doesn't even exist. Luckily we couldn't get ahold of him to talk to these evil people.

This just happened to me too i was in shock because the "investigator" claimed that a restraining order issued against me ! Your story is exactly how my situation took place just this past week. I too have contacted my attorney and am forwarding the voice mail.

Yes i believe this is a lawsuit just waiting for us all to come together i'm gonna stay on this cause this isn't right we need to come together and stop this the legal way ! I will be in contact with an attorney asap and update with any info on how we can all move forward legally !

Today, 10/31/11 a message was left on my sons telephone, that I had a restraining order against me, and that I was going to be taken to court, that I needed to call immediately to a investgestor, named John Archer.  I panicked because I had no idea what it could be.  I called and talked to John Archer, and he said I owed a credit card debt from 11 years ago.  The number I called was (972) 234-8700.  He said they would settle for half, and demanded my checking account number.  I asked for documentation of this debt, and he refused to give me any information.  He said if I did not pay, I would have to go to court and the amount would be even more.  I looked up the information on line and found these posts, and tomorrow I am going to the police and file a report of a scam.  Thank you everyone who posted this scam, so that I didn't fall into their trap.

I also received a call from this same number today, I was not home but received a voicemail giving the name "Joe Monroe" needed to contact them regarding a claim and court date and to contact my attorney. My name is not Joe, nor is it anything close. After a little research I have found that I am not the only one who has received this scam phone call. BE CAREFUL!!!  I would NOT call this number!!!

Called my sisters house and told her she needed to get in touch with me regarding a complaint filed...BS!!! I did manage did get an address when I called.

I got a message from this  same company saying I have a restraining order and need to  contact a lawyer.  They called my husbands ex wifes house and ask for me by my maiden name. I would like to know how that happened. I wasnt able to reach anyone by phone,  Im very glad i found this page because i will get through to someone tomorrow and the conversation will be alot different now that ive read these posts.

Got a call from them today too!  SCAM!!  No info to be given!  Don't fall for it or give them any info, they will try to get you to send them money!!  BE CAREFUL!!

Cathy Robinson called, spoke to Linda later - they totally don't have a clue!  Wrong info read back to me, just went with it to see what she was talking about!  TOTAL SCAM!  There is some info to email them and tell them to remove you, they'll play dumb at first like they dont why you are emailing them, but once I cc'd my local police and BBB on a response, they removed me.

I called it back. They were looking for someone who did not live at my house. told them i couldn't help.  thanked me and hung up.

Special Agent William Oaks called me too, but left a voice mail.  He said that I needed to contact my lawyer because I have been sued for a restraining order.  Hmm...called back and no answer.

On 11/2/11 I received a voicemail message from a “Special Investigator” William Oaks. He stated that there was a complaint filed against me and that I must appear in court, and to note that there is a restraining order involved. He said I must contact a lawyer and respond within 24-48 hours to this phone number: 972-234-8700. He referenced an affidavit # . The number that he called from was a landline: 818-934-2644.

This is completely a SCAM.

I got the same call today talking something about a special investigator and a restraining order and I was being sued. They said I had 24-48hrs to respond. I had two messages on my answering machine today and also I recieved a call from my daughter in law who said they had called her parents house for me and said I left them as a reference. This is a scam! Thanks for your infomation.

So I stay home today because I am sick and I receive this fraudulent phone call saying I have a restraining order on me and that I have 24 hours to call them.  I called them 6 times and spoke to amber, dawn, and 4 other idiots who I gave them their false case number and they said oh you have the wrong number, I continued to call them and now I will report them and pursue them legally.  They are not a legitimate company and if so they are going to be in serious trouble.  DO NOT ANSWER CALLS OR CONTACT THEM THEY ARE FRAUDULENT AND YOU WON'T GET PAST TWO COMPLETE SENTENCES BEFORE THEY HANG UP ON YOU.  THANK YOU AMBER FOR HANGING UP ON ME 3 TIMES YOUR SELF.  YOU PEOPLE ARE QUACKS.

I received a 'private caller' that left a message with a docket number, telling me I would be served with a subpeona (sp) for a restraining otder. I called back "special investigator" Chris Williams with Legal Securities Bureau. After providing "docket number" he asked about an old address I lived at in 2007 and said I was a respondant with another person I lived with and I informed him I had not lived with anyone since 2000, when i was totally and irreversibly disabled. He continued saying I entered into a joint account with this person for a Discover account and now "this person" is filing a restraining order against me and i should contact an attorney, as I would be receiving a subpeona shortly. When I tried to ask further questions he said "good luck" and hung up on me. This came from phone number 9722348700.
