Harassing PHone Calls -- asking to be your friend

Called at least three times
very uncomfortable, trying to get me to meet somewhere.

same number...sup'm about ballot. Couldn't hear clearly

called while I was on another call. Caller ID said "Unknown Name" didn't leave a message.
This is not the first call todaY.

called today hindu speaking , tried to offer 4 promo back ,told him not interested i told him was time share, he got upset  , I hungup he called back speaking hindu and swearing in english.

Called about a ballot that I filled out at a mall (which I didn't do) Said that they had my phone number, but I didn't write down my name on the ballot. I told them I wasn't interested. He also had some kind of Indian/Hindi accent as well.

Caller asked for my 11 year old sister saying he was her boyfriend from myspace. He would tell me his name and when I told him I was going to call the cops he hung up.
Then he called the next day asking for my sister again, and then asked me if I was ticklish.

The guy that called me first was Sharif, and then his manager Chad called. Like someone said before, both guys has indian accent. Basically, asking two questions, 1. if i have a spouse, girlfriend, common-law? 2. if i was making above $45,000 combined. Contact Better Business Bureau if you ever feel this was a scam.... They're located out of missassauga, toronto

got a call from this number from a guy with an indian accent repeating my phone number ... i said it was a wrong number and hang up.

called 4 times withing 5 minutes!
saying he wanted to talk, and be my friend.
continued to call back, but i didn't answer. really weird.

i got a call as well. but this indian accent guy was threatening my children and sd he was going to bomb my house. I hung up

Indian Person called, saying i filled out a ballot at a mall (and i didn't) and couldn't answer my question "well if i filled out a ballot why didn't i put my name on it?"

Let him get into his speech that i had possibly won 4 amazing things i told him that i worked for a telco, and if he called my cell phone again i'd track him down and rip em a new one... Didn't call back.

I got a similar call, with an indian accent. He told me i filled out a ballad in a mall, and i was gauranteed to win one of 5 prizes. So naturally i heard him out. But then he started asking me detailed questions that i wouldn't answer, and eventually hung up. He gave me the Address 3395 American Dr. And told me it was near pearson airport. Sounded like a scam to me.

Just received phone call today from this number. They had called my cell phone and it what out of range so it hung up. Never saw this number before, but its really weird.

I had the same call about 3 months ago.
They wanted us to come on a certain day and we told them we would be out of town, and they said then we didn't qualify anymore.
Today I recieved about 20 calls from this # starting with a woman who wanted me to give her info, but wouldn't tell me anythign about her.
I dismissed her and hung up and then got about 19 calls from a male who was threatening, and very vulgar.
He kept calling so much and so frequently that I couldn't even dial out, because everytime I would open the line, they were there.
I finally changed my #.
Also they both sounded indian.

i also got a call from this number today. was in class at school, so i didnt answer. no voicemail. are people here considering doing something about this?

Same Hindu accent guy called me and said I filled out a ballot with my cell number but did not leave a name. Said I should come in to their American Drive office in Mississauga to draw for one of five prizes (Escalade or $50,000 cash, Trip to Bahamas, Maui...)
Later talking about contest winners had to be 25-75 and married/common-law. I told them I'm neither but have a girlfriend. He said "okay, that's common-law."
Definitly a scam even though they did not ask any personal questions over phone.

I got the call last night from Impress International. I was expecting one of these calls sooner or later. Guy with an Indian accent (identified himself as "Dave" and gave out a local phone number ). I could hear other voices in the background like a call centre. He said that I'd filled out a ballot in a shopping mall 3 months ago (I didn't but I played along). He said that I'd won a choice of 5 prizes and that I would have to come to their "gifting centre" at 3395 American Drive to claim the prize. He said the meeting would involve refreshments, a presentation by the sponsor (i.e. hard sell pitch) and then the prize. They asked me the same questions about age, marital status and salary range. Then I was passed to a "supervisor" to arrange a time. She wanted my name and I told her that it should the same as the one on the ballot. She said that the ballot only had my telephone number. I said that it seemed odd that my name wouldn't be on the ballot and she got all defensive about her role saying that she was just the reservationist. I said that I wasn't questioning her job, I was just wondering why my name wasn't on the ballot. She said that she would transfer me back but I hung up at that point. As expected, they called back but I didn't answer. Checked the web -  Impress International is selling memberships in a discount travel club. I suspect if you win the trip, you will be harangued the whole time by one of their reps.

I got a call from the same guy I think or at least someone from that call center.  Said his name is Stewart Clarke but the name definitely did not fit the voice, he sounded like he was from the Philipinnes. He gave me this 'call back' number: 416-342-1547 and the same address he gave all of you.  And the same spiel that I didn't write down my name and so forth.  Said it was done in april and listed of a number of possible locations, ie the major shopping centers and walmart.  That includes everyone's shopping locations.  I hung up when he was transferring me to the supervisor who was going to give me my 'claiming #' He called back and left a message on my voicemail, saying that he needs to know why I hung up and if I'm not interested, it is costing him to wait so I should contact him right away.  How do these people sleep at night?

L4L 8S5, heavy Indian accent. The first person I spoke with said that he worked for Ramada Inn, the second guy, apparently his manager said he worked for Marriot, I knew it was a scam the second I picked up the phone with this weird number on my caller ID but I'm tempted to go and see what kind of sales pitch this will be but honestly I couldn't be bothered. I'll update if this number calls back when I don't show up to "claim" my prize.
They were pretty polite considering the comments mentioned in previous posts but I will be contacting the police if this number shows up again.
