A lot of the same circumstances as a lot of other people have reported, but the names and characters are a bit different... the company name was Geo something ... which he informed me was spelled Goggo... located at 51 International Blvd in Etobicoke, M9W 6H3.  This is, like the other locations, very close to the airport.  This location is up on Profile Canada as Fairfield Vacation Club, however on Allpages.com it's Geo Group of Companies, GhF Marketing Ltd, specializing in resorts/timeshare.

Just received a call from these clowns, Indian -dot not feathers- asking if this was my cell, and started to inform me that I won a prize. at that point I said not interested and hung up. I'd waste his time but the truth is that even if I were to spend all day scratching my ass, my time is more valuable than his.  Wouldn't be surprised if this was some VOIP crap and they hire people in India for $1/day

Cannot stress how important it is to avoid scams such as Impress international..telling you win all those prices and then they want to sell you member ship to a discount card..they are willing to settle for $600 but, begin with approx $1500...dont get conned!!! Total rip offs

Had a voicemail on my cellphone today from this number, very strange...just some mumbling and what sounded like dishes clanging together in the background.  All male voices.  Didn't actually say anything though.  Weird because this is my cell, unlisted, caller ID blocked and I *never* give it out for anything, not sure how they found it.

i just got a phone call from this number 1 min ago, he keeps talking and telling me that somebody from my phone number phoned them..blar, blar, blar, I told him, i didn't phone, and he said, nobody who phones, but somebody from this number phoned, i have the responsibility to verify some information with him, while, I know both my husband and I didn;t phone this 999-299-7676 for sure, never and ever....finally, I say" i really do not want to talk to you and i'm not going to verify any information with u...then I hung up the phone. btw. it sounds like an indian accent man

The same thing happened to me today.

Just got a call from this number, some indian man asking me if it was my cell... I obviously asked who it was and he proceeded to cut me off and try to ask me if I had been shopping with my family last holidays ( I could tell this was turning into some bogus scam ) so I told him he had the wrong # and hung up..... Strange.......

Received a call from this number tonight - not the first time they've tried calling according to call display.

Very poor spoken English, lots of pauses... He asked "Is this phone number ..." I interjected with "Who is calling" and he proceeded to tell me that someone in my family filled out a ballot in Ontario but did not include a name. He said he was calling from "NGC" or something like that...

I responded that "You're full of sh*t, You're nothing but a f***ing scammers, and don't ever call here again". I think I may have deafened him.

kool, thx. I got the same call, promised same stuff too TV, Ford Explorer and sth else. He's gonna call me. I am going to tell him that I want to dump my girlfriend and marry him instead.
My Suggestion: just have a laugh with this guy, and then report him to the police.

I got a call from a man with a chinese accent looking for a man with a chinese name.

hey exact same thing happened to me. First they called on a cell phone it broke up, which was local (T.O.) then called back on a lan line which was long distance and gave me the same you filled out a ballad with no name. I said first I don't remember filling out any ballads without my name and second why would you call on a cell then call back on a lan line? its messed up. I think this is the second time he called though. I remember someone who sounded the same called earlier saying some fake bank name but I told him i was on the other line call back.

Just got the same call about filling out a ballot at the mall. I (foolishly) gave him my name - does anyone know what this is about? He got very pushy when I said I didn't feel comfortable and asked to be removed from his call list.

I just got a call from this number, and thought the area code was bizarre and Google'd it found this thread... No answered after I said "Hello?"
