Ok that was just wrong

i kept getting calls all day from this number so i finally answered it and it was some guy saying that were are getting 4,000 in government money that never has to be paid back SCAM

I get a call from 999-999-9999 at least two times a day on my cell phone.  I just don't answer it.  I figure if someone wants to talk to me, they had better at least show their number or name.  Otherwise, I don't need to talk to them, but it is very irritating.

Hay guys, I'm from Mexico and I received the same call but it's weird cuz I read a lot of comments and all the calls are in USA so it's weird. I not answer and rings only 3 times :S

Constantly calls will not answer.  Turned off ans machine and they hung up after 4 rings.

got a call from 999-999-9999 and i missed it by like a sec
then i called back and they said 911 whats your emergencie

received this call today (Jan 26, 2011) no message

My mom took her cell phione bill to the cops and THEY said that it was from a police station and.....they always show up on her Verizon phone too, but it doesn't ring through nor do any 999 calls show up on the caller ID, only on the bill WTF

I have near same problem, I keep getting calls from a 999-999-9999 so what do you know I googled it.
I imagine whoever called you is someone that knows you,and they probaly followed you to Canadian Tire.Im getting these calls all the way in Michigan and they call me like every 10 minutes, the best thing to do is to report and block the number from Verizon and not to answer.

i recieved the missed call at 1211 am feb 8, 2011 called bac and non working number!

I have a non publish - non listed phone at home, my cell phone was charging so I used my home phone and the next day I was checking out my husbands phone calls - it is  because the number is blocked - or unlisted or non published .
You will get this number on your bill  9999999999  .

Today is 1-16-11
I have gotten 11 calls from this number in the last hour.
After I answered it fo the 3 time someone showed up at my window and was watching me for at least an hour.
Ive called it back twice and a message that said "This number has been changed, dissconnected, or is no longer in use"
Whenever I answered the call it was a different language everytime other than english.
But the thing that I dont understand is after gettig this mysterious call, why would someone show up at my window dressed in black and stand there watching me for an hour.
This is not the first time Ive gotten this call but its the first time someone has showed up at my house since Ive answered the call.
I would recamend you not give any information or your name to this number, dont say anything other than hello.

This number started calling at 5:40am (if my phone rings in the early AM and it's not a family emergency you can bet I won't answer it) and has called back many more times before 10am (persistent bugger), I never picked up the phone. I just filed it under the Spam heading in my contacts list and gave it a "no ringer" selection. Case closed.

My daughter and I both got a call from 999-999-9999 today and when I called it back it was disconnected.

We get phone calls from this number 999-999-9999 and don't know who it is or what this is. I don't feel we should have to pay for this when it is calling on my sons cell phone and he is not using his phone as he is in the Airforce training. This is insane. Who is doing this and what is this number?

Every so often we get a call like this but never answer. Let them eat static. We have caller ID and whenever a call comes in that to us is suspicious we don't answer. If its really someone looking to get us and its that important usually a messgae is left.

i got a call from tht number yesterday when i was with my friend madison and i had went into her room to get my jacket nd her fone just started ringing nd i was like wtf bc it was thaat number. it called twice! the second time i answered it, it was my friend calling me on my friends cell fone. he said it was from his ipod but his ipod number was different. does anyone know what that is suppose to mean?

this number is constantly calling asking for me but i wont give any info out i want to find out whos number this is because i want them arrested

These dishonest people need to go and make a real living; they are being watched by God personally; He is the One Who will deal with them; I will now watch my phone bills carefully after hearing from all of these bloggers about these awful charges.  How do they sleep at night?  They should be made aware of what God feels about stealing; He will forgive them but they must repent.  I am so afraid for them if they do not!  Thank you for your assistance.  This number came on my phone also.
