SCAM! Called as USSP Shipping insisting he speak with management regarding a packaged that was undeliverable. Called from phone # 323.334.1113 when you call this number back it is a busy tone....
Received a phone call at my job today from a USSP representative. I had a person call me before but before I got any information they hung up. I then Googled them and found that 800Notes had some information about them. 800Notes has now become my reference when it comes to strange and scam calls. The gentleman stated his name and business so quickly that it took me a 2nd time to ask who he is and what is his company name again. He stated his name is Matt from USSP and that he needed to speak with the warehouse manager about a package that they were trying to get delivered. We do not really have a warehouse manager per say but we have someone who does inventory....etc. but he was in a meeting today. The gentleman asked for a warehouse manager I stated that depending on the call; I can find someone to assist you. He stated that a package was returned and he need to verify information. I stated can he let me know who the package was from. He stated he only had the address of where the package was going to. I said does he know what is in the package, and he stated safety material. We are in the safety field but I know who we order from and what shipping people we deal with. Knowing what I know about this company and from on here; I kept on asking questions and he kept on getting frustrated. He ended the call and stated he will call back. I will make sure everyone knows what this company is doing and I will make sure if he calls again; that I will answer the phone. It amazes me that people will try anything to scam everyone.

Received a call from "Joel" at USSP 480-530-6326. He tried to make awkward small talk and then finally asked if I received notification that a package couldn't be delivered. I said no and asked who the sender was. He said it was his 3rd day on the job and he'd have to transfer me to his supervisor. I said, "you called to ask about a package, but you don't have any information about the package?" He said, he's "still getting his feet wet" and would have to transfer me. I said no thanks and hung up.
SCAM ALERT! Caller ID said (813)524-1035 asked for our shipping department that they "received an overnight package but shipping label was ripped off" kept asking where is she calling from, who was the package from? NO ANSWER hung up on her.

Also got a call like this at my work. Started with one guy claiming the company's name was US Shipping then was transferred to another guy claiming it was US Standard Products. He made the same stupid Trump hair joke and started asking if I was a Padres fan, even went into the whole Chargers leaving San Diego thing. He then started talking about what soap products we use so I transferred him to someone in our building operations department. This scam went into great detail to try and get info from me so please be careful! Don't give them personal info and just hang up! The whole trump bad hair day seems to be a reoccurring thing they say so watch out for that!

Same as above excect they were calling from Hinkley MN. Each time they ask for someone different in our office and then eventually ask for our president. Today I told them that we were sick of the same Trump joke and that she was lying about a package being deliverable and she argued with me. I eventually told her to never call back and hung up the phone.

We don't have caller ID, so I don't know what number they called from but it was the same for me.....She asked for the warehouse manager, I told her we don't have a warehouse manager. She asked if she could talk to any general manager, I told her we have to managers. I asked what is was about, she said shipping. Since I usually handle the "shipping" calls, I said I could help her. She asked if I was a manager. I said NO, we have no managers but I can help you I take care of shipping. She asked my name, I gave it. She asked for our hours of business. Again, safe enough so I gave her those. She she asked, for what I thought was our phone number for emergency's. I said you just called me on it. She asked, on your cell? I said I not giving you my cell number! She said you don't have to be like that, and must have put me on hold, cause I got a message saying I was being transferred and to please hold. I hung up.
