This scam continues...be aware of callers from USSP and don't give them ANY information. They called this morning implying that a shipment we ordered was returned and they just need to verify the address. We fell for it 2 years ago. They sent us $25 worth of safety products and a $2,300 invoice!  I can't believe they are still calling and still going strong. So disturbing that these people can't get a legitimate job or earn a respectable living.

Just received a call from 410-401-1822 with the name David Perry. First person I spoke to was a man stating a package was undeliverable. He asked for a work cell phone number as well which I said no to. I was transferred to an upbeat woman who would not stop making corny jokes about Trump, sports, etc. Making me uncomfortable after I told her twice that I don't watch football - trying to send us Ravens gear. She mentioned sending us supplies for our shop as to which I replied with, are we going to be charged for these materials? She said no, not until after she "visits" in January. I hung up. Liar. Scammer. Screw whoever this company is.

I got the same call from 832-662-5319. Same bad joke about Trumps hair. I was told they wanted to send me a thank you gift for being such a loyal customer but I needed to confirm my address. His boss wanted to give a "official licensed NFL warm up jersey.

Called from a 256 number today.  Had previously called from a 251 area code but knew i had gotten wise to the number and just kept hanging up after that.  Now today calling from a 256 asking for a project manager on a job we don't even do.

These people are starting again.  Just took a call from a Mike who knew my first name and the business address.  He said to hold and while he was holding I googled USSP shipping then a Dave came on the phone and knew my bosses name but by this time I knew they were going to be phishing for info.  After making some sort of joke about my boss and roller skates I told him they were a scam and hung up.  I wish I had more time, I would have stayed on the line and fed him a whole lot of misinformation to screw with them.

They just called my place of business asking for a co-worker, when I said he was in a meeting and could not be disturbed, she asked for his phone number, not once by three times.  She has an "English" accent and terminology.  When she asked if she could call back I said sure, she will get the same run around, if she does call back and now that I see this is a scam I will have some fun with her.

USSP just tried to call my work from 361-214-8472 and speak to an old boss who hasn't worked here in a few years. They then said they have a package that keeps getting returned and transferred me supposedly to the sender of the package. When he got on the line he was joking with me and talking about baseball. I did a quick google search and told him I knew he was a scam. He got tongue tied and said he wasn't but he will go ahead and keep the package, then he hung up. Dumb. I wish I would have at least gotten a joke to giggle at lol

I see how old your post is but maybe someone else will read it.  It's similar to the "I need the # off your copier" scam.  They get you to agree to have something shipped and then send you a bunch of stuff you didn't order and and exorbitantly priced invoice.  Reports I've read said over 400% more than normal prices.

A woman called our company from 614-502-2900 claiming to be from the shipping company USSP and apologized that a package they had shipped had been returned as undeliverable. She got my first name right but gave me our plant manager's last name so right off I knew something was wrong. She didn't let me speak but immediately transferred me (the hold dialogue was the comedy of Jeff Foxworthy) to a man who stammered when I quickly asked for the PO# of the order that had been returned. The guy finally said he was with US Standard and that we didn't actually place an order but they were trying to ship 2019 Cleveland Browns warm ups to - I didn't even let him finish reading off our address - I just hung up on the scammer.

Has anyone ever visited the website of US Standard Products? Their prices are a laughing stock. Their BBB complaints are tremendous. It's astounding how they continue to operate.

Received call from USSP asking for manager regarding a failed delivery attempt. They only needed a verbal from me to re-send the package. i knew immediately it was a scam and when I turned the questions on her, she stated she was new, only there 2 days and was not authorized to give any info.
