I call back and he explains to me that if this debt was paid I need to fac the bank statements....hahaha as if... I have yet to calm back again to request the debt collection paperwork to be sent to me.. I will post shortly on my situation.. The above info has been greatly appreciated.. Puts me at ease.

Personally I never would have called them back, but I can see how people can be frightened into calling them when they threaten arrest.  Too bad most people don't know you can't be arrested for civil legal matters.

You are such a blessing!!  I have been getting those calls too. I ignore them.  How they got hold of our personal info is scary.  I'm wondering if I should get Life Lock.

    HelloHello
yes get a credit monitoring service. Although I must say I opened a new credit line recently and the questions they asked me to verify my identity were tough. Things like 25-30 years ago.... like in 1987 in New Hope, PA you took a cash advance. How much was the amount and which bank was it. Yes I did! The Inn we stayed at was a cash only place and had to walk into a bank to get cash advance which took forever. Thankfully they had a list of bank names otherwise I would have never recalled it.  WOW.

Nothing. If it's a small amount ask them to stop harassing you and take you to court. They probably won't unless it's a big amount. And if it is a huge amount you can file bankruptcy or hire a lawyer to counter sue them --- whichever is more cost effective. Bottom line it's a long process even if you owe them and plenty of time to figure out a strategy.

I received a call at my work stating they had all my information and that I owed BMG Sagamore 1500.00 for a payday loan I never got. But they stated if I didn't make payment arrangements right then someone would show up at my work and I would be arrested. The company that called is Alternative Revenue Service phone 877-224-2975, First Lady was Amy Goode, then when I call back she's not their but the man in charge is Chris Baker and I am to pay 500.00 a month. This is crazy. They have no proof except a letter that I had to demand but it's just their letterhead with a fake case number. How do you make this stop???
