Carpet cleaning telemarketer fined $10,000 for violating DNC list

This stinking [***] has been calling each phone line in my office daily for the past year.  Diane, BITE ME!

You justify their actions because it pays the bills?  There are lots of crimes that pay the bills, so you are justifying every crime that's commited by someone who needs to pay his or her bills!

You are basically right that all the ideas are stupid, because they fundamentally can't solve the problem.  You'd actually have to cancel your phone service or block all calls where the caller can't supply a secret code.  But that doesn't work either, we need to be able to receive phone calls from people who don't have our secret number.  The "do not call" list IS stupid because it's unenforceable.

Anyway, please post your phone number so we can all call you up.  The people complaining on here don't get one of these calls once or twice a year, they're often getting multiple calls a day.  The businesses involved are criminal enterprises and I just have to wonder why you'd advocate on behalf of criminal enterprises unless you are involved in a criminal enterprise yourself.

I' with all of you.   But how can we actually get these bozos???   they will not give you their phone #   and that 818# got me a recording in Spanish. I have been called 5-10 times  these people are slime!!!

How can we stop "Diane"".  I get these calls continually and I too get hung up on mid-sentence.  The # I have is 803-3279.

Whatever anyone comes up with to rid ourselves of these slugs, I'll do it. I get one to two calls a day from 'Dianne.' I don't want to press 1, and be automatically added to the list of potentials. I wish there was some way to 'hack back' and put these jokers out of business.

I am in Nassau county NY and get this disgusting Diane call several times a week for  several years.
I wish I knew what to do to stop them.  Why doesnt some government agency step in????

I get these calls too. Dialed 1 to talk to somebody and got some woman mumbling something I couldn't understand. I asked if this was carpet cleaning and she hung up. Has anyone actually scheduled carpet cleaning with these bozos? I would love to have a truck show up then tell them they have the wrong address.

I'm not justifying the fact that they call the point is its blown out of proportion. It's a phone call, hang up, or don't answer. Ask them to remove you. They just as much don't want to call you as much as you don't want them to call. They get business that way so let them, if they get caught one day then oh well for them. But to threaten people and purposely hurt them is an extent that shouldn't have been pushed. Everyone needs to get a life and not let. PHONE CALL ruin your day. Most of the people they call are old already, which I'm sure you can relate, so why risk a heart attack or broken hip for a phone call? That's just what I'm not understanding. I took a deal on one of these calls and the service was GREAT! My carpets were never that cleaned and for the price I paid I was satisfied. It's not like they want to waste money and call you guys to "rob" you, your comparing a phone call to selling drugs or any other illegal thing that's the stupidest and I mean most RIDICULOUS things I had ever heard. If over the phone carpet cleaning isn't your cup of tea then say no, simple as that.

I live in hemet calif and I have been getting these calls forever , I pressed 1 and told the girl I had there phone no and if they called again I would report them and she hung up. A friend of mine had them clean her carpets and they woudnt give her the price they promised. She reported them to the better business bureau. I wish I had the no of who to call and report them , I registered my home phone and cell phone on the don't call list.

They keep calling and calling.  After the recording was through, I got a Latina sounding lady.  I politely asked that they stop calling over and over.  She slammed the phone down on me.   Any further comment that I could make would be inappropriate .

Unfortunately, my 97 year old mother in law was ripped off by this creep.  Most of her  small house is carpeted. They came in and moved furniture, wet the marble floors, did not finish the job and took her for $600.00. Cashed the check immediately. She wrote it out to John Belcastro.  Today there are streaks all over her floors. We are calling the authorities on these cretins.

Just got the same BS Call 15 times in a row!  In a 5 minute period span!   All from different #s, so they're probably all spammed #s from innocent people.   Ridiculous!   He needs to be arrested on harassment charges!
