Carpet cleaning telemarketer fined $10,000 for violating DNC list

Unfortunately they have not disconnected that number.  I desperately would like to find out what rock these slimeballs have crawled under now so if anyone gets their new #, please post it.

I just got a call from those [***] and reported them as well!   I have a BLOCKED # and they still managed to get through.  When I told the bimbo I was on a DO NOT CALL list, she hung up on me.   That's ok.  I filed a complaint with the donotcall people.  I hope they shut those [***] down!

Yes, i just got a really annoying inbound call from a carpet cleaning service with the following unusual number: (415) 156-9041. It looks unusual because the pre-fix of the number is not ordinary. You can push 1 to supposedly leave a message to schedule an appointment but the voice message won't identify who the name of the company, likely because they know they are breaking the law in CA by ignoring the Do Not Call List.

I'm almost 99% positive this is related to the "carpet cleaners"

I highly doubt anything will be done until shady companies stop purchasing the outsourced garbage

And I just got a call from them with blocked caller id. My area code is in chicago so they must have moved into my range. Ugh.

The only phone number that works in relation to their company is the american phone number 1-909-237-0077 who is the supervisor for the company. All Philippines numbers are disconnected.

Can I add 773-988-4578 to your long list. Just got my first one from automated "Diane" offering to clean my carpets. I've already reported them. Hope they burn in Hell.

They keep calling my government cell phone while I am on mission. How they got the number I dont know, but I usually have that phone for mission only and they call during very un-opportune times. I'm in the sand, do they want to come over here and clean this up?

I get the "Diane" call too.  I pressed 1 to "make an appointment" and got some sort of central phone bank.  I asked where they were located, and the woman said, "We don't give that out."  I gave her my zip code and she said they would probably be coming from Nipomo or San Luis Obispo (CA).  When I couldn't get any more contact information from her I told her this is an illegal call because I am on the Do Not Call list.  She hung up on me mid sentence.

The [***] are still at it now in October of 2010. Got the exact same thing - Diane in a recording. Also got hung up on when I stayed on for a live person. The next time I'm going to make an appointment and let them come to my house.

All you people have way too much time on your hands!!!!!!  My gosh, it is only a phone call - It is not like they egged your house or shot your dog!!!!!!!  The phone rings 3 times, you choose to answer it rather than let the machine catch it, the person on the other end starts their pitch and if your not in the mood or not interested you hang up the phone.  WOW!!  THATS THE END OF OUR WORLD AS WE KNOW IT!!!!!!

You people need to get a life!!!!!
