Received many calls from 210-736-3080..They gave me heart palpatations when they would not take "not interested, please take me off of your call list" as a response.  Received a dollar from them in the mail later. They still call nearly daily. They just will not stop harrassing my family. I will be contacting the Texas Attorney Generals office next.

In the mean time,  I see that Scarborough Research is a member of CASRO (Council of American Survey Research Organizations). To be a member, they must adhere to a code of ethics, which includes not harrassing people. Obviously, Scarborough does not floow those ehtics. So, what do we do?

Why dont we start emailing and calling Scarboroughs CLIENTS and let them know how Scarborough is wrecking families peace in their homes? Some of Scarboroughs clients are listed on their website:

Okay, this really makes me laugh, everyone getting so worked up over a stupid phone call. Just hang up for crying out loud, that's what I do to all telemarketers, it doesn't ruin my day, and I CERTAINLY do NOT feel harassed... lol you people make me laugh.

It is not funny. It is disturbing. Ever thought of people who have nervous conditions or are sick? They have a right to control unnecessary calls to their home.  The sheer volume of calls week after week and month after month, become more than a “just hang up” situation.

Lastly I received an answer to my email to cease and desist.  It came with a long explanation of why they call, an apology and a promise to remove my number. It has been close to two weeks since I have had a call.

These [removed:lang] have called and woke my whole family up at 10pm at night for 3 nights in a row! I have told them to stop they say they can't take my number off the list unless I call another number and request it. So I call it then they tell me it will be another 48 to 72 hours before they stop! Short of unplugging my phone at night they are worse than bill collectors! COME ON 10PM at night! If they keep it up I am going to fight back I will SUE them for harrasment!!

We began receiving calls from 210-736-3080 EVERY night at PRECISELY 9:51 P.M. EVERY evening. We usually just let the call go to voice mail because it came so late in the evening. However, after logging in 10 or 15 calls from this group, we answered the phone one night and were told that they were taking a survey.  We replied that we did NOT have time to engage in a survey right now.  We also told them that we have an unlisted number and are on the Government's Do Not Call Registry.  We told the to quit calling at odd hours of the night and to take our name OUT of their data bank. They claimed they would take our number out of their data system - but - so far - since we DO continue to receive these unwanted calls - we are presuming that the company has NOT kept their promise to us.

These guys have been calling me for weeks, sometimes leaving messages on voicemail, sometimes not.  Picked up the phone for the "short interview" and 45-minutes later it was done.  Now they are sending me a TV log and a gift certificate for $5.00 (for what?) and I can't wait to send the information to the FCC,  I asked if they were related to Joe Scarbourough and she had no clue.  I also told her that my number was on the DNCL and she told me that they are not selling anything and if I took there survey they would quit calling.  The survey sucks; they want email addresses and phone numbers, etc.  Don't do it. They blow.

They called me after 9:00pm central time and i'm list on govt do not call  list.

I recieve calls from this number all of the time. It's been going on for weeks now. I don't usually answer if I don't know who it is. I decided to answer last week just because I'm so sick of them calling. Some girl ask me to do a survey and I told her I don't do survey's and asked her not to call back. Well, the calls continue. Thats when I decided to check out the number. Seems I'm not the only one getting these annoying calls. The next time they call, seeings how no one can get them to stop, I have a extremely loud horn contained in a small can type container. I'm tired of this ringing in my ears so I'm going to give them a piercing sound to they'res. We'll see how they like that. If authorities (The Attorney General) can't make them stop then they need to find out what annoying is.

They've called me again after asking them not to. Some how they don't listen. A friend of mine suggested that I call my phone service and ask them to block they're number so Scarborough can't contact me anymore. I will do just that. Wanted to pass along the advise. Hopefully it works.....Good Luck!!!!

This is the message I posted with the Better Business bureau and the Do Not Call Registry:

Received numerous calls from this number over the last month.  Received call last night at almost 10:00 pm.  Hung up when answered to tell them to quit calling.

No, they won't eventually give up.  This number has called me at least once a day (at various times of day) for almost three months now.  I haven't answered since I picked up the first call and told them I was not interested, yet they keep calling.
