- MikeThey just called my land line. I was talking to my doctor on my cell phone about a potentially serious medical problem. I could barely hear what the doctor was saying, which given the nature of my problem was not good. They hung up on my answering machine and I was able to continue the conversation with my doctor. I'm on the DO NOT CALL list. Not that it's going to do any good but I'm going to report them.
- JayYep, they are scammers. Actually had a live person with indian sounding accent say he needs access to my computer.
- LadyLaLaGot the call from 2107378097, heard the accent and the mention of my computer, didn't say a word, hung up and thankfully I have a panasonic phone will caller block, blocked number. phew! Yesterday, I downloaded CamStudio, during download it tried to install a load of unwanted programs, I missed one, Dregol (xxxx) horrible mistake it loaded itself on my computer, and my browser, took over google, I had to clean it with malware remover, delete it from my computer, and reset google. Not sure if that is where they got my information from but it's hard to believe it was a coincidence.
- KathyJust received call from this number. Man was muffled and spoke broken English. Wanted to talk about my computer. I hung up
- KathyLeave me the hell alone!#
- DennyIndia call center looking to fix my Windows "viruses". You could barely hear the caller due to all the other scammers working in the background. I led him along for a while acting like I was really doing what he was asking me to do on my computer. I managed to work into the conversation that I was employed by the FBI (which I am not) and they hung up.
I get this call a couple times a month and I love messing with them. Another of my favorites is to speak back to them with the same accent they have or let them go through their whole routine and then tell them I have an Apple computer which would not have Windows. - MisaI just got a call from this number. He wanted me to go on my computer so that he can have access to remove a virus. Caller Id says it is from San Antonio but I believe he is using magic jack and could be any where.

- sandieCalled my phone, trying to get onto computer, and hacking your information. Contact FBI for this type of caller
- TCAWLEY| 1 replyGuy with a thick Indian accent tried getting remote access to my computer. Said he was from VapeSecure. He was rude to me and I hung up. He called back four times and each time I told him to stop calling me. He wouldn't listen. I then said I'd just tie up his line then and I blasted music into his ear. That finally got him to go away lol. I wasn't born yesterday for crying out loud.

Asking for my information, computer issues, and wanted money over the phone...sounded like a Nigerian accent with a script....after I said "what?" De repeated the same response....freaking scam artist! Be aware!- Caller: Rav #
- Dennis Simmons| 1 replyThis company scammed me pretty good. I should have known better. I let them onto my pc,they supposedly updated my Windows license. I investigated them online after. They are a [***] company. I phoned my bank and stopped the Visa debit transaction. The bank returned my money thankfully. I cancelled my credit card and got a new one. A few days ago my wife checks our online banking and theres a debit withdrawal of 345$. The PRICKS put a virus on my pc and hacked my new visa debit card and tried to withdraw money . Thankfully I was low on cash and they didnt get a penny but now I have to take my pc in to get scrubbed clean. Effing [***]. Change bank accounts also. the bank said they were doing me a favor by processing the transaction which put me into overdraw which i dont have.. made a complete mess of everything.. These people are disgusting humans

- SarokoThey called today. I did not answer. I never answer unless I know the name. I don't know why I keep the phone. I'm 83 and can't even take a nap without being awaked by these illegal calls.
- KimCaller ID showed 1-788-421-8690~ Williams Chanie-Received call from man with heavy Indian accent telling me that my computer has viruses and that he keeps getting malware messages and needs to have access to my computer to get rid of the viruses. When I asked for the establishment he was calling from and his name, he told me Vapesecure and that his name was Ryan Williams. I had to have him spell the Vapesecure as I could not understand what he was saying. When I told him that I had Geek squad through Best Buy and just had my pc serviced, he would not listen. He was very persistent even after telling him I wasn't interested numerous times and that I will have Geek Squad look into the so called viruses he was detecting. I eventually hung up on him! Scammer!

- JMMy call was from 888-577-4003; the "SE Asian guy said he was calling from Bloomfield Hills Michigan, and he wanted to get on my computer. Clearly a scammer, because I could hear so many other voices in the background from his boiler room it sounded like a call from an airport.

- SciLady replies to TCAWLEYThe same guy just called me 4 times as well, two years later! Saying I don't want to and hanging up didn't work. He called back and asked why I hung up. Repeating it and immediately hanging up didn't work again. He called back twice more within five minutes. Husband on the phone yelling at him didn't work. Threatening to turn him in to the attorney General of the state and accusing him of scamming didn't work. I guess after the 4th try they give up until ..tomorrow?
