Dude called and totally creeped me out!!! His voice was weird and the whole brief encounter was off the hook! I just hung up on him. IF he calls back I will just give him the business. Plain and simple!!!

Scam continues.  The caller said his name is MAX.  I asked him to spell.

Obviously overseas scammers using illegal, aggressive auto-dialers and faking the Caller-ID information.  Just got a call from them, but the auto-dialer called me when there was no scam-artist ready to talk to me, so it just dropped the call.

I received a called from "Mike Stewart" with an Indian accent saying that there was malware on my computer, and that he was a "software security licensed provider."  Finally, I told him I thought he was a scammer, and I hung up.

Called my 92-year-old father, claimed it was about his computer.  I took the phone and told caller .(Indian accent) he doesn't have a PC, hung up.

Whoever, whatever just called my fax machine.

Not a working number. Apparently being spoofed by persons unknown. The call lasted long enough to trigger voice mail, but left a 0 length message.

I crack myself up. LOLOL. Computer scam. The guy called saying they are getting many complaints about computers sending out malware, so they are calling every Windows computer owner (wow, that will take a while). I let him babble for a while trying to tell me how to check my computer and finally mentioned that I am using a Mac. He hung up on me. My only regret is that I did not string him along longer.

To All - don't be so quick to hang up on these con artists. Keep them on the phone and tie them up for a while. Have fun with them. Make them repeat themselves, and act like you don't understand any of their instructions. It is cheap entertainment. Enjoy.

Got the call today...I said Hello and nothing said Hello again and then it said Goodbye and hung up.  But was a machine not a person.

Hello, I hope that I could get some help to solve this situation. I receive calls almost every day, more than,one call a day. It is always a different caller. I could tell by the different voices and some can't speak very good English.sometimes it's a male and sometimes a female and they will say this is the first time I called you. This has been going on for about four months. I am 84 years old and I do not want to put up with this.I tell them to leave me alone and don't call me again and they curse at me. These are numbers that have called me.

They keep asking for a person I tell them no such person lives here and I do not know where they are. Then they want to know my name which I will not give them. I went to the police and the telephone company and nobody could do anything for me. I do not know the name of the company or who or what they . Half of the time I can't understand them.

The [***] just called and hung up after two rings, they are on to us!

Same as most of others. Male caller with Middle-eastern accent who said his name was Charlie and was calling about my computer. I hung up on him. I received another call from the same number 2 minutes later which I left go to voice mail & they hung up. I then received a third call 45 minutes later ehich I again left go to voice mail & they hung up again. This is really annoying and if you tell them not to call again because you are on the Do Not Call List, they usually say that yhey are exempt from that and can call you as often as they please.

Give them this phone # and tell them it is your work number and please call you there. 202 456 1414.......It is the phone number to the White House. Maybe those folks can stop going our for a beer and actually be of some use to the rest of us?

Just received a call from this number, and could tell something was up after not hearing a response from my first hello.  I waited nearly a minute before then saying hello again, heard a faint "beep beep" and then a computerized voice told me "Goodbye"

These dumb-[***] wanted me to give them control of my computer so they could fix a problem. They said my computer is infected with a virus. I kept him on the phone as long as I could and then taught him a few American curse words.

Number showed up in th' fax machine.

Also received a call from 210-737-8097. Barely understandable accent -call made no sense

call received from this Number today, not able to understand , they inter nation department of routing and there is a problem with my computer.

Just got a call from 210-737-8097.  No one responded when I answered.  I'm on Do Not Call list.
