- 210 calls replies to tomI read that they want to hack into yr pc and emails...thats what its about. They have called me a few times. Indians, call center types.
rereceived call from person with thick foreign accent telling me that they had proof from their international routers that my "Windows" computer had definitely downloaded many "malicious bots" and had recently become infected with the "Heartbleed virus" but not to worry they had been contracted by Microsoft to help protect my system. They claimed that my system was definitely infected and they would help me clean it up. They started to step me through some processes to prove the infection to me. They had some difficulty with me so they turned me over to deeper tech support I did not yet tell them I don't own a Windows computer. They told me they were from ISecure VAP - they spelled it out for me. Tech support had me go to a web site www.ammyy.com and attempted to get me to download and enable a remote desktop agent. I quickly looked over the site and found a warning of the scam that was actively being perpetrated on me. I told them about the warning and they advised that it was wrong - they were trying to help me. I then told them I would not download any agent software or grant them remote access to my computer. They insisted I cooperate - Then I told them I was a software engineer working for the US Government. - CLICK .... gone. - do not call replies to BJ Mackayethical USA biz might honor it. - TerriHe told me my computer had been hit. He had a very heavy Indian accent.
I told him he was crazy and hung up. - LH replies to bamReceived the same call, man with a thick accent telling me that when I opened my computer to check email or go to a web page, I was being infected with malicious software and was now enabling it. I ask him to hold on, laid the phone down by another line, dialed my own number, ask to speak to Officer Davis, John Davis, I then stated loud enough for it to be heard on the other phone that the computer scan people were on the line, confirmed my home phone number, and stated "so you are starting the phone trace now"... guy hung up in a hurry and did not call back. This is a scam and unfortunately someone in our neighborhood fell for it, they were locked out of their computer until they obtained a prepaid credit card and gave them $60
- LHReceived a call from a man with a very thick accent telling me that when I went out to read my email or open any web pages my computer was sending malicious viruses out. I know this is a scam. I laid my phone down very close to another phone, dialed my own number, ask for Officer Davis, John Davis, I then told Officer Davis the computer scamming caller was back on my line and confirmed my phone number. The last thing I said was so you are starting the trace now.... the scammer hung up.
Be very careful with these people someone in our neighborhood didn't realize it was a scam and was locked out of their computer until they gave them $60 through a prepaid credit card.- Caller: scam 210-737-8097

- annoyi hate that accent when i hear it. They are all trying to scam Americans. I get calls and emails all the time to work on my website. Like i am going to use them thousands of miles away. F them! They better worry about securing those nukes from ISIS and finding water to grow food. It's only a matter of time before they lose control to iSIS and we have to level them to protect ourselves. Then you will never here from India again. It will be a dust bowl.
