4/27/15  called and said a company that will help fix computer.  hung up on them

received call May 6, 2015 8:07AM, didn't answer, no message.  Said Unknown Name

I got a call at 8:00 AM from 210-737-8097 wanting to discuss my computer.  At 8:00 AM...in the event he didn't have a clock, I told him what time it was...then told him I was on the do not call list...he continued to talk.  That was it...I know he will be having that hearing checked.

I got 3 calls from them yesterday.  Because my landline isn't working (dead battery or some such nonsense), we only pick up messages every other day or so.  They called every 4 hours.  When the machine picked up, they would say hello, hello, hello, hello.  Then they'd hang up.  I almost want to call them back but don't care enough.

Watch out! This dude called me and wanted me to set up a remote desktop client so he could "remove my virus." Transcript of call:

Me: [Unknown number, put on Monopoly man accent] Hello?
Dipwad: Hello, sir! I am calling about your computer! It has a terrible virus and it must be remo-
Me: DID YOU JUST CALL ME SIR?!?
Dipwad: I- Yes, sir, I jus-
Me: NOBODY CALLS ME SIR! I DEMAND TO BE CALLED BY MY PROPER TITLE! HIGH LORD OF PLANET LASER KITTEN!
Dipwad: Um, okay High Lord of planet Laser Kitten, let's jus-
Me: Did you really just use the letter E in my presence?
Dipwad: Yes, but-
Me: YOU'RE A BUTT!
Dipwad: [speaking slowly to avoid the letter E] Okay, go to www.ammyy.com and downl-
Me: Do you even know who I am? I will take you down!
Dipwad: I'm sorry, what?
Me: Well you see, I'm the troll that lives in infamy to my enemies. Granted my enemies are few. It takes a very stupid person to be my enemy. You've crossed many bridges with ease, even the biggest of trolls didn't stand in your way. But you know what? THIS. IS. MY. FREAKING BRIDGE!
Dipwad: Wh- what are you even going to do?
Me: Well you see, you little Dipwad, I'm going to start out relatively small. First, your phone number and this transcript is going ALL OVER the internet. Your phone will be called frequently from unknown numbers Some will be from me. I suggest you take these calls. Either way, you will regret calling me. You've crossed the wrong troll bridge today. *hangs up*

A little bit later, I called him back with a Google voice number after reporting him to the government.

Me: Hey, buddy, it's your friend, High Lord of planet Laser Kitten! I'm just letting you know that I've reported you to the Federal Trades Commission. So be on the lookout for my buddies from the government!

He then hung up the phone. I hope they catch this guy and I suggest you report him to the FTC as well.

They called a few minutes ago.  I didn't answer.  No message left.  Based upon above messages, I'll assume it's the Microsoft windows scammers from far, far away.

Scam, as soon as he said he was calling about my computer I hung up on him.

We no longer answer any calls on our landline - we let Fax handle them.  I think I'll collect all the copies of the telemarketer calls and send them off to the FCC.
I doubt very much that anyone really feels threatened if you tell them you're on the DNCList and that you'll report them - they just don't care because they obviously get results they want that outweigh any risks.

These jerks woke me up Saturday morning at 8:30. Then they hang up. Not pleased!

I just got a call today and also about two weeks ago, When he said he is calling about my windows,
then I start talking about the windows in my house, stating, I have windows, I can see the birds
and trees and the skies, He say, NO!! windows on your computer, I said I do not have a window on
my computer just in the wall of my house, he get frustrated  and hangs up.

I got a call from this number about my computer and someone is hacking into it!  Really I said?  I kept badgering him as to who he was, where he worked and who told him to call me!!!!   He hung up.  I tried to redial this number 2 times and it was not a working number!!  No caller ID when he called me.

How does one deal with these crooked people??????

No nothing, except he told me there was someone hacking into my computer, could not understand hardly anything he said.  I asked him where he was from, who he was, and who told him to call me    -    silence   -   he hung up.   I tried to called this number back 2 times, but  was not a working number!!!

Received a call from this number before 9 AM this morning. I did not pick up; and they did not leave a message. I am on the Do Not Call list. How to I report them?

just called me 6/2/15 3:05pm Caller ID said "San Antonio, TX". Told me his name was Sam (must have been a shortened or americanized name) and that he was calling from VAPESecure (I had to ask him to spell  it - sounded like he was saying PC Secure - it sure didn't sound like the way he spelled it.)  Anyway - - started giving me his song and dance about viruses and started to direct me to do stuff on my computer and I said "I don't think so". He hung up on himself in the middle of his own sentence....My heart goes out to all the people out there who believe this load guys like  him are selling them. I sure wish I could zap these people over the phone. Labeled it Telemarketer bc there isn't a separate category here for these type of computer repair scammers.

Received call.  Didn't answer. They didn't leave a message.

We get repeated calls about Microsoft windows problems ( I talked to Microsoft, it's a scam, they don't call people). I tell them I don't have Microsoft and to stop calling, but they keep calling.
