I will not post my name on this blog for reasons that I work for the Illinois Tollway in the customer service center. I am the one that gets inbound calls to try and help solve violations. What I can tell you is that the phone number that is currently calling you is not Harris and Harris. If you have violations then try giving us a call from Tues, Weds, Thurs, Sat, and Sun. Mondays and Fridays are the busy days for the call center in which case you will be waiting HOURS to get to a representative. If you have a violation that hasn't yet been taken care of give us a call between 6-10pm. Our number is 1800UCIPASS. We will be able to resolve the violations you don't have to talk directly to a debt collector we are equipped to clear the violation up. Even give you information on the violation. Especially if  you have an I-pass acct you will actually get money off of the violation and we can shrink it down from 10,000 to just 500 to take care of the whole 10,000. So please instead of worrying about whos on the end of your phone give us a call and let us give you the CORRECT number to Harris and Harris. We will be able to give you all of the information you need. If you have documentation showing that the veh was currently yours or that the veh was never in your possession or that someone stole your plates you can actually mail us that information and they WILL take the violation off. However if you wait they will try and suspend your drivers license# or your registration. Maybe even both. I hope I helped!

keep getting these calls at work every couple of months. not sure how they got this number nor do i have any outstanding tickets (i have gotten only 1 ticket and that was here in will county where i live and that was paid the same day i had court)! if it is regarding tolls, i have the ipass.

I was overseas a years ago and got a piece of mail that stated that I owed 3,000 dollars!!! in unpaid tolls. I was unaware that when you purchase the transponder EVERY car you drive and use the transponder with you need to call the Toll people and register that care and plates with them.  I assumed the transponder followed whatever vehicle you were in.  I was floored! I called the toll people directly and they told me they would accept a settlement of $175 dollars on the spot! and I hurried up and grabbed my credit card.  So I would call the toll people directly before paying anyone.  As far as the city parking tickets go......you really only need to go through this Law Firm if you want to set up a payment, the City has all types of plans and if you are booted, on the boot list or your license is suspended getting on the paymnet plan helps stop those things.  The hardship paymnet plan covers a lot of categories, Low Income, Unemployment, LIHEAP recipients, Students, Military, to name a few and in my case because I was in the military my fees were taken off and I saved $150 in fees.
I just needed to fax them documnetation (in my case they had me scan/ email it) to hsp@harriscollect.com. I then had to pay the down paymnet of 50% of what I owed or send it Western Union.  In my case since my license was suspended  if I paid it by credit card there was a 30 day hold on my DSL letter to send to Springfield to get my license reinstated....but I sent it western Union and they sent me a letter within 7 days to send off to get my license reinstated while paying off the balance on my payment plan.  I spoke with a very helpful lady named Ms. Boyd ext 3466...so I hope this helps someone.

The strange thing is, none of the phone numbers match up anywhere. The phone number listed
in the paperwork sent to me, doesn't match any of the others I have found online. I had a parking
ticket last year in Chicago for parking a truck (while visiting a friend). I was ticketed for being
a resident and I live about 3 hours south of Chicago. I filed the appropriate paperwork, cited on
the Chicago website. It clearly stated that since I do not live in Chicago, the ticket is null.
Here I am 6 months later getting letters from this company stating that I owe 61.00 and if I do not pay
my vehicle will be booted.  
Why are there companies that exist to harass the public?

I have not found any information online to validate this corporation. I fully believe it is a scam.

I keep getting calls aobut a $600 unpaid "licensure" issue and want me to pay it over the phone or going to put it on myt credit report.  Its from 8 years ago and I have no idea what they are talking about!  HELP

Yes i received a call from this Arnold Scott Harris Law Firm, The lady that called was a "Mrs Robinson", She said that her agency had sent me numerous letters and had made numerous calls to me concerning four outstanding parking tickets in the city of Chicago. These tickets dated back 4 to 5 years ago. I told her that i had received notice of tickets back  in 2008 about these tickets and that i had contested them. The city ended up charging me for two of the tickets out of a total of six.  I paid it after i had received word from the dispute board.  Now they tell me the other four are due and that they can seize any vehicle registered in my name.  One of the tickets that was forgiven was supposedly given at a time when we had already moved out of the state.  She also said i needed to fax everything about this her office. From 5 years ago!! Well of course i could not find all the material, So now two days letter i have another call from this number from a Mr. Stone.  I am contacting my Lawyer, there is something definitely not right hear.

I work for this company. We are a legit company. At least some of the collectors. Dont know how the owners run these accounts they have us working. I know some collectors will do anything to get payments. I myself try to sympathize with some of the debtors that we deal with. But everyone should also sympathize with us, we are just doing a job after all. Do you think all we deal with are innocent people that pay all their bills that they have knowledge of? There's plenty of liars, that just make empty promise after empty promise. The best thing to do is get all the ticket info from the collector, then give the county or specific client a call to verify. That way extra fees are avoided, and there are no repercussions on your driving privileges. We are not allowed to lie, we are not allowed to be rude(although some collectors find their way around that), and we ALWAYS have to verify who we are speaking to through ADDRESS or DATE OF BIRTH, sometimes SOCIAL SECURITY NUMBER, so do not be alarmed about that aspect. Theres a lot of rules collectors must follow, a lot of procedures and scripts that we have to work around, so its not us trying to harass you in every way possible.

I called Harris to make a payment and they will put the banking information in wrong on purpose and a month later said it bounced or declined.  I went to my bank and found out they never sent it and they were still taking my payments but never told me I wasn't in a payment plan anymore.  My car was booted I had to come up with another down payment.  I went to the bank and to get a copy of my account to prove to them they made the mistake and now they are giving me the run around.

It isn't against the law to use an alias. That is governed by the state. Good luck suing.

She was very abrupt and said she could not discuss this with me, had to speak with my husband!

I have been getting calls from this number in the last few days.   It is Harris and Harris.   I have not been to Chicago in ten years and when I was there I was not driving.   Seems like most of you are saying this is a debt collector for parking or tollway bills.   I don't have any of those.......

I am a paralegal, and I can help you get rid of these people, once and for all.  That is... if you truly do not owe anything and have no knowledge of what they are talking about.  To those who do owe, I suggest that you obtain verification of the debt, as per the Fair Debt Practices Collection Act.  They made the claim... they have the burden of proof, in providing strict proof thereof that you indeed owe the money.

this law office called me several times this week stating that I had a ticket for 888.00 . I called a detective acquaintence of mine she informed me to check my traffic tickets and such....and guess what...I have no such a ticket on file....plus they said it took place back in 1998......I can't wait till they call me...someones gonna get a mouth full.....lol......!!!! SCAMMMMMM!!!!!

He's the lawyer at an Accounts Receivable Recovery firm. Basically a fancy way to have a lawyer at a collection agency.
They called three times each the last two days. I told them I've never heard of Michael *****, and I haven't..
They've sent over 100 texts over three days. I have an old, as in original and unchanged, cell account. though our minutes are great, text back then was expensive and I still get charged .50 cents a message.

Phone number is an emergency secondary VoIP number attached to my cell account. So I'm getting double dipped. They cost me $100 in three days; all this AFTER I told them it was the wrong number and on the DNCL. The fine they are looking at is over $1000 for this. I'm going to file against them if they call again. I suggest others consider it as well. Enough people complain, press charges, the faster these crooks get shut down.

I have had soooo much trouble with Chicago!!! I also live out of state and have a suspended license because of  Chicago tickets, arghh! The court Chicago Courthouse referred me to Arnold Scott Harris. I feel like a victim, I live in a rural area and can't drive! My family is suffering terribly! I wasn't driving drunk, I didn't hurt anyone, I wasn't even in an accident! People actually commit murder and suffer less that my children and I are suffering!

I think my information was stolen by one of the caller who took my payment.
