My calls were from: 312.604.7109 & 312.423.7539

The first call I didn't answer as it was after the hours I allow for telephone calls.
The second call he wouldn't say who he was or why he was calling and I refused to talk to him.

we have repeatedly gotten phone calls from this company. in our case, they've all been robo-calls and
not a real person.  we have caller id which appears on our television screen and whenever we see this
number or any other number we don't recognize, the phone call goes to voice mail. sometimes a message
will be left, other times it won't.  when a message has been left; it has been for a rochelle taylor and there
isn't now, nor has there ever been a person by that name with this phone number since we've had it for
almost 30 yrs.

hopefully, soon these idiots at a.s. harris will realize they're only throwing away good money when they
call us since even though we don't pick up the phone; when it goes to voice mail they're getting charged
for it. of course, i seriously doubt that will happen. if it doesn't; we'll just keep letting voice mail pick it up.

Does this company only collect for Chicago or other states/cities as well?  They been calling me for my son and he has never ever even been to chicago?

Does this company collect for other states/cities than Illinois?  We live in Iowa and they called my son.. wouldnt discuss with me... Said they had called multiple times and have never called before... they lied.  My son has never even been to chicago in his life!
So so much for saying that your not allowed to lie, if your not and they are, then they need fired!

i get these annoying calls several times a week, for brian sawyer.   i do not know anyone with that name and i keep telling them so, but the calls do not stop coming.  i am disabled and answering the phone is a problem for me

Well, have to say that even though it sounds like most of the above people were harrassed needlessly, I was not. I am not here to say that I appreciated dealing with these [***] because I did not. Here is what happened. I got a ticket for speeding in a construction zone in Champaign County, Illinois. I want to state two things. First, it was on a Saturday, therefore no one was working. Secondly, I was following another car. Anyhow, the fine was excessive and I did not pay it right on time. Part of the reason was the State of Illinois denied me a hardship license and it is tough to make a living as a sports reporter when they do that type of stuff to you. What am I supposed to do, walk to a football game? Enter Arnold Scott Harris, the bill collecting law firm in Chicago. They promptly added $346.50 to my fine, which ironically is exactly 49.5 percent of the orginal amount owed. So, I paid the court system, not them. I guess they got their money. If they didn't I could care less. If I sound bitter, it is because I am. Any chance I get to legally harrass these people, I am going to take it. Any chance I get to badmouth them. I feel the same way about the Champaign County Court System, especially Judge Holly Clemons, the cops in general and the Illinois Secretary of State's Office. I truly hope that one day, they need me. I would call them back and ask for the human resource department. If that does not help, I would tell them that I am contacting an attorney if they call me again. If you have told them that the person is not there, you dont know them and they continue to call you, that is harrassment. Make sure that you tell them to not ever call again. Some of these people and from what I have read on this blog are just calling people at random trying to soak them for money.

Anyone working for a government agency does not need to get information on your ticket numbers or documents, they would already have that information, it would've been supplied to them by the agency who hired them

If that is true, then the city needs to investigate how their collections are being handled. Government agencies don't hire collection offices, they issue warrants.

They also use another number 312-624-6174...  They have been pests ever since I called the city of IL finance to find out about what happened to my 2012 and 2013 tax refund.  They said they never received the money.  Which I found strange.  I kept getting sent to everyone then they gave me the below number of AS Harris Law ....  They wouldn't even listen.  I never received my ticket just found out about it last year. I asked about it last year they never sent it... They supposedly took my refund to pay for it.  When I called they said they never received it. I asked again this year to receive the actual ticket.  Finally I got it.  But they held my tax refund from me this year too.  This is a wrong illegal practice. I need help in getting them off my back!!!! I tried writing to the paper, the Fox channel in town and no one is helpful.  The government has become corrupt again in Chicago and my guess is it goes up to the mayors office and higher.  We get nothing but crooks from the city of chicago what a lame way to run of a city!!!!!

On December of 2012 right before Christmas my husband got booted in front of the house for under paid tickets( we said OK is legal) we went down to a payment center paid the amount of $2.500 cash and husband had to get on a payment plan.
1 week later woke up to find the book back again on our truck this was right after new years we called again and they said they found a couple of more tickets they missed to had added to the account (how can that be possible that the city will miss to add them? ). So we paid once again $1.800 in cash plus city pound fees witch they had already towed after 24 hours not 74 like they had originally told us. So got the truck back home  . So just this Thursday may 24 I went down to ohare airport to pick up my parents went in at went in at 2pm they arrived at 2:15pm go back to the truck at 3pm and found my self stranded with my 3sons (remember that day was very cold in the afternoon) they are 6yrs old 4 and a baby of 1. Had only one bottle left 1 diaper and nothing else on my wallet but $30 for the parking fee. I called the attendant on ohare airport nothing no one could help me I did it all even called the police department witch that was all the people that work their could provide me.with only to be told (mmmm ma'am well can you call someone to pick you up or you can take public transportation the train station and plenty taxis are available for you) gtfo ggrrrrrr!!! Any who husband picked us up at 8:30 started the.process of gathering what the city wanted this time to get the boot off so they ask for $3000 REALLY??????  He made arrangements got on a payment plan again and only paid $1500 plus $89.00 for airport parking fee :'(
OK so one thing I'm very confuse about. When. We paid they told us the truck was not on my husbands name  yes he was a cosigner but the registration was on his mothers name How is that?  HIS MOTHER PASSED AWAYS 6 YEARS AGO AND HE GOT THE TRUCK 2 YEARS AGO!!!!! They still went on making the payment plan . And just  this morning heading outto work  at 5 am  hubby finds the truck booted againa. what CAN WE DOPLEASE HELP ... ORIGINALLY THE AMOUT WAS FOR $5000 after 3 arrangement plans we have  payed about $4000 and they are telling him he owes $3000 more. PLEASE ANY INFORMATION YOU CAN HELP ME WITH CONTACT ME. The same thing happened to me, I have never been to Chicago either.  I am being harassed for somebody else's debt

I live  in Bozeman MT and if you can get this jerk to quit leaving robal calls every day for the past 6 months for la john delocton, that would be great.  I have talked to the Bozeman PD about this hrassmet.  I will re post what I find out.  This kind of activity  from Arnold  should be investigated by authorities and the press.

they are harrasing me about something I know nothing about!

I have been receiving harassing calls from henry hoover.
Today I was called again this time I answered.
The lady said law offices of Harris&Harris my name is MS.CATHY.
I thought that is very strange.So I stated I do not know how you got my# and full name what is this in regards to?And are you not Henry Hoover? She got real nasty with me saying look lady henry hoover is our automated calling service.when you call lady it does not say law offices of henry hoover! She said this is a debt collection what is your number?
I said well Ms.cathy didn't.you call me so you should know whom I am!
she then got snide asking me for my name and #.
I gave it out of curiosity of this debt.
she said this is for DTE consumers energy you owe them an outstanding
debt of $236.03.I then said I will contact my attorney.
she hung up. The #'s for this place and For MS. CATHY are.

I found out where this so called law firm is calling harris&harris in texas.a real law firm they have been getting.complaints.

a headache. I am so sorry that so many of.you have lost so much income paying these ignorant #$$#$.
I woukd take your complaints to congress.
there are ways to get this company to pay you back.
