i found an ad on graigslist in the raleigh section looking for flooring guys of all kinds to apply for jobs.im sure and have no doubt by this ad that this is the newly formed "AMERICAN KITCHEN " business. Looks like he thinks he can get away with becoming another entity using other names as owners and still profiting from this . i hope that the state of north carolina finally steps up and actually does something to help the consumer about to be scammed by this unethical fraud who keeps extorting funds from hard working people like myself. i mean after all the state attorney is a "consumer protection division" maybe they can start earning there money and do something about this lying thief, instead of doing nothing at all.

very interesting what i just fould. in october of 2009 on the website       godaddy.com     i found that rob selfors bought the domain name  kitchentennessee.com. now why would he buy a name like that in october of 2009? he seems to be starting the same scam in tennessee as in north carolina. but heres the big thing, a reverse on the phone number listed on the site is that of nova scotia in canada. is rob selfors hiding his money in canada? possibly he is. this guy has definitly planned all his moves in advance. i realize that we as customers of this scam artist can only do so much,what we need is the other people that can look into this mans finances and his path of scams to step up to the plate and stop sitting on there hands and begin to take this serious.we as consumers are finding out all about this on our own and we don't have half the resources to uncover all the truth that the attorney general has,and where finding all kinds of things.i was told in fact that rob selfors is building a brand new home and from a very reliable person.

I work for Kitchen Carolina and this posting came up when I was searching for something.  We do not have any numbers resembling the said number above.  Our business has closed it's doors, but we ARE continuing to do work.  Just because we no longer operate from an office does not make us defunct or a ripoff.  If you call giving people a luxury kitchen at half the price a ripoff, then you have a different meaning of the word than I do.  NO ONE has been left with a half finished kitchen unless they have breached their contract with us (such as not paying us, which is part of the problem leading to us going out of business), in which case we cannot finish until the issue is resolved.  Why don't you post pictures of the "hundreds" of "half finished" kitchens on the web.

Okay again for the moron who is thinking that American Kitchen and kitchen carolina is not the same people. Please click the link I am providing. This is the google page that has all the searches on it for American kitchen. Low and behold one of them has the domain name "Kitchen carolina", it that little green address at the bottom of the link. The first few days it linked to American Kitchen and now it goes to the old kitchen Carolina website,
I guess google has made this mistake. The got messed up and put a American kitchen title to kitchen Carolina.
Guess what, google don't friken care who does what. Its all done by the crawler. You friggin fools that put the American kitchen website together forgot that you should have built your new web page on the AmKiCo domain.
There is no way in hell that the new owners of American Kitchen would allow anything with Kitchen Carolinas name on it. American Kitchen would have been able to contact google and have them remove the american kitchen address with the kitchen carolina domain...heres the link..

And for the idiots that want to stick up for KC, they did build some very nice kitchens but they also ruined a lot of lives with their mismanagement both home owners and workers.
Not to many companies have their BBB acredidation removed, have a 5 on your side consumer complaint, numerous complaints to the attorney general and a large % of pissed off customers. Those customes that got good service and a nice kitchen could care less about the ones that did not, Its the ones that did not that are mad and feel ripped off.

Take your circus somewhere else Selfors your the only clown left.

If i wasn't so pissed at Kc i'd find it more funny but i just went on the AK site and they now took the chick off (thought she was a little better looking but with the obvious same KC voice) and put a guy on there. These guys are such idiots but i guess that kinda makes me one for believing all their crap. Hopefully their day will come soon. I have so many documented lies from this jerk i can't see how i can lose in any court battle but it sucks that we all have to go thru this. Don't have audio at work so i'm not sure if the new animated guy still has the same chick voice.

The voice is different, but it's still pretty lame.  Who tries to sell high-end home improvements with a moronic talking animated person?  They oughta use that cute blonde from those Rug & Home ads on Charlotte television... Jamie Simpson.  Much more appealing.

It offers 4 services for web design,mailing flyers,an answering service and get this, a blog where only positive words are spoken. He has a 40% discount right now that lasts till march 31st. Just wanted to post that I went to Arbitration last week and won my case in the amount of $5000.  If this company/Rob Selfors owes you any money take action now.  Lets put him where he belongs.  It pains me to see him take advantage of everyone.  He needs to be stopped.   Brian!

I am pleased to learn that you have won your case!  

I started my project  the end of September, and was one of the lucky ones to have it completed by the end of November.  I do have a couple of issues remaining, but the issues are minor.

My first cabinet installer was fired, however, my job was stalled for a week and a half.  The second cabinet installers came the day after they were hired.  I was lucky to get them!  And, hope they get the compensation they are due.  My electrician was great, but was new and came from a great distance.  I'm sure my job was the last he did for Rob.  

I would have never gone through with the project had I known the issues.  The mailer was deceiving, as well as the sales representative and designer.  

All that aside, I am one of the lucky ones.  I love my kitchen ... however, it came with more problems than I wanted to deal with.  Hope the subs that did a great job for me gotten what they are due.

Hey now when you google american kitchen corporation there is no mention of kitchen Carolina  and them being the same. Some clown went to the complaints board and this bogas american kitchen food  crap shows up and you can not find any of the complaints pointing to both the clown companies.
I dont know how to change that but go look at the fake complaint.. rob is screwing around with the search tags google uses to put things in order on the page,, pretty slick move if you ask me by rob. hope one of you guys can get those complaints back on that page so people can be warned. Right now on that page there is no one guarding the hen house and the fox has top spot !
