Glad to see I am not the only one having this issue with these people. I dont answer them. I wish they would stop calling me.

I don't live in the United States and this number called me several times internationally. I picked up once and a man said he got a text telling him to call my number which is BS. The calls keep coming and I don't answer

I do not want to receive calls from this number. They leave no message.

I am also plagued with these annoying calls but have discovered another option to keep them from calling my house and/or my cell phone (I use call forwarding).  Simply insert these numbers into your "call blocking."  Have a special ring for all calls blocked!  Done!  You know by the ring it is someone you don't want calling and eventually most of these calls will stop.  
Telephone numbers are public anywhere you want to find them.  Use your call blocking.

I have 2 calls from this number in the last 2 days, I don'y know who it is but I live in England and I dont know anyone in the USA! but this is costing me money!!!!!!

Got a new cell phone and new number. Now the gallup people just keep calling and they don't know who their even talking to? So I'm suppose to let THEM use up all my minutes. Their greed exceeds their viability.

if you don't want people calling you, don't have a phone. SIMPLE AS THAT, you have a phone you are going to get calls, if you don't want to talk to them don't answer and let it go to voice mail.  How stupid are you people for complaining about something as trivial as getting phone calls.

If you don't answer they are not wasting your minutes, just push the hang up button and let it go to voicemail then delete the message without listening to it.  OMG is this really that hard and anything to get upset about you have a phone, phones receive calls, your phone shows the number if you dont wnat to talk just don't answer.

An intelligent person.  Thank you I have been reading all these posts and wandering why these people aren't smart enough to figure this out.  If you have a phone you are going to get calls, but that does not mean you have to answer them.  Thank you again for you intelligent post.
