We almost just got scammed by the same guy as well. We saw the poor grammar in the response, and googled the email address. THIS thread popped up and confirmed the lies. He wrote almost the exact same email to us word for word, except for the address of the apartment in BIG RED LETTERS! And we got the construction management letter, not the music teacher letter.
It's sad that there is probably no way to stop this guy... he does need to be stopped, caught, jailed, whatever...

Unbelievable! Just randomly, I googled his e-mail address and how lucky am I to find this forum!
I'm wondering if I should send an angry mail to this guy...but he finds out that his mail address has gained some fame in the net, then he might just react by using a different one so that he can trick even more people.

I tried to look for an agent that I could give the document & the keys before I left but could not find any as a matter of urgency. And I don't want home misused in my absence that is why I took the keys and documents along with me. So I hope you will promise me to take very good care of the apartment always.

DON'T BE FOOLED

Just ran into this guy renting a beautiful 1 bedroom apartment in Beverly Hills.  He was asking 550 for a place worth well over 2 grand.  His name was Rev Dave Morris and he referred me to his wife Susan Morris because he was on Crusade in London!  He used the same phrase: "absolute maintenance of the apartment".  The guy had this whole story about doesn't care about the money and everything (actually at this point I was emailing his wife haha)  Who doesn't care about the money when they would be losing something 1500 a month on the place and what kind of missionary has that kind of cash to burn.  
Bottom line is never send money without having something in your hand (like a key which has been tried on the door) and if something is too good to be true then it probably is.

and i guess he's posing as "David Moore" too.......
