Just got a call but didn't pick it up.  I live in this same area code in Calgary, Alberta and happen to be a landlord.  No idea where he got my number.  I haven't been looking for a place nor seeking tenants.

Thanks for the getting back to me,I am satisfied with you. I can see your willingness in this rent. I shall be giving you the flat for rent,pls again take care of the flat  so that i might be glad when coming at the end to see how you are really taking good care of the apt.

However,now that you are ready to rent the flat ,then that will not be a problem but i will advice you due to a responsible person like you,and based on what you said, you should be able  to afford the first month rent and security deposit now (450euros).

I will also like to tell you that you will pay the  half of the rent which is 225euros  to reserve the apartment  and when you have received the keys and the document then you would pay the other half which is 225euros . I would send the following document to you via Dhl Courier Service to the address you provide to me and the tracking number will be sent to you. Hi all! I am from Slovenia (Europe) and was looking for an apartment in Amsterdam, the Netherlands (Europe), while I will do my exchange period there.

I found an advertisement from this same guy (apperently named RODGER STAMPHER...) on a Dutch web page for apartment rents. The rent was cheap (300€ per month) and the apartment was beautifull (2 bedrooms etc.).

We exchanged a lot of e-mails and I was about to make the money trasfer with Western Union, but FORTUNATELY my own bank said this was kind of strange and risky. The same Western Union then called us and said it seemed strange to them that I was making this payment from Slovenia to the States.

Here's the first e-mail I got from him and it is EXACTLY THE SAME AS YOU RECEIVED!!!
