So this 414-448-2222 number callede and scared me to he'll saying I hdd a payday loan and they got caught quick in a lie since I am. Paralegal and I ask them to give dates and the name of the agency they were calling and that i would pay whatever is owed they weren't able to give me this info I then told them that I was an attorney and they hung up what a pack of nimrods

I also received the same threatening call from someone claiming to be an attorney saying i was to be arrested at my place of work. They knew all my info like my name and work place etc.. I contacted LA County as well as OC County sheriffs departments to see if I had any open cases or warrants which of course i did not. I tried contacting this "law firm" with no luck, I left a slew of messages letting them know I knew they were were scam artists. If anyone can please tell me how to find these people, find out what information of mine they have obtained illegally, I would love nothing more than to bring them to the fullest justice of the law

I received several calls threatening to arrest me at my job or home if I don't send them over 700 hundred dollars . A man with a heavy accent told me I stole money from a pay day loan company. When I asked him what company he said you know what company you had the loan with. When I asked for a date I supposedily took out this loan he got upset ,he used the name Sam tayler he said if I don't pay by today nobody will be able to help me nobody he said the person requesting the money is the owner over all the pay day loans in America .when i started asking more questions and for him to slow down I did understand him he got mad at me and said he didn't want to talk to me anymore , he said nobody can help you and hung . I called back he said why are you calling back don't call here anymore and hung up #4159523898 #9206364344 he also said I would be fired from my job I hope they arrest these people all this information was given to my 17 year old daughter she called me frantic worrying about her mother being arrested.

got a call from some guy with an indian accenty.  guy abusive.  put htis people out of business.  don't know how they got our number but the government needs to investigate.

Got a call from these jokers asking for my son who is disabled and telling my husband that my son was going to be arrested.  Husband handed the phone to me and they told me to have him call Atty Michelle Brown.  We have been getting many calls like this in fact when we were out of town last week for 3 days we had 44 missed calls from this # and others that when you call them back no one answers.  Instead of Obama playing with Big Bird he should be cracking down on scammers internationally as well as the companies who are selling lists of US citizens to harrass.

THESE STUPID IDIOTS JUST CALLED MY HUSBAND AND TOLD HIM THAT HE WAS GOING TO BE ARRESTED FOR CHECK FRAUD AND THEFT DECEPTION. IT WAS FOR A PAY DAY LOAN FROM LAST YEAR WITH CASH ADVANCE. WHEN MY HUBBY QUESTIONED THEM ABOUT IT, THEY HUNG UP. WE CALLED BACK AND NO ONE ANSWERED, IT WAS JUST A BEEP SO I LEFT A MESSAGE TELLING THEM TO STOP CALLING OR ELSE I WILL REPORT THEM. THIS LADY (WHO BTW CANT SPEAK ENGLISH) TOLD MY HUBBY TO CALL A GUY NAME MICHAEL CARTER. UGH THESE KIND OF PPL MAKE ME SICK. IT WAS SCARY BCUZ THEY KNEW MY HUBBYS INFO. A COUPLE OF WEEKS AGO A GUY CALLED ME AND TOLD ME THE SAME THING. I WISH WE CAN DO SOMETHING ABOUT THESE IDIOTS...

just received call from same guy. he said that i have a legal matter with his company and that if i did not call back or my attorney today he would have to procede with legal action. he then wish me good luck with what ever happens to me. i hate people like this. Did anything happen to you concerning this matter. i hate this just ruins your day.

They called at 8:30 am speaking badly I called them.not to call me anymore the lady said ok.and hung up.they call from so many different numbers

These people are crazy.  I have filed a complaint with the FTC and the phone company that provides them their phone service.  They call and leave me at least 4-6 voice mails daily.  I was finally able to get someone on the line today and man are they rude.  The lady, I'm sure her name was Tammy :), said that she was surprised that I had not been arrested yet for not paying off my payday loan (that I do not have).  I told her I was informed by an attorney that they were a scam.  She said "oh [***]" and hung up.  I called back, same lady says, "what the hell do you want now".  I told her that is a rough way to talk to your customers, she said you are not a customer, you are a piece of [***]."  I advised her that I contacted my police department and the FTC she said that it didn't matter because they are in India and they can do what ever they want to.  A man called me back and said, "we know you are an attorney with blahblah company, he named off my employers' name.  I don't know what these people are trying to do but it is scary that they can harass the hell out of you and they are not held to any kind of regulation at all.

This is a criminal extortion scam operating out of India. They are making the calls utilizing VOIP and the names of legitimate firms to make it appear the calls are originating from within the US. There is NO "company" or "debt" and you will NOT be arrested. They are harvesting and/or buying consumers' personal identifying information from unscrupulous websites like the one you may have filled out an application with, and you need to do whatever you can to protect yourself. This includes: Notifying the FTC: https://www.ftccomplaintassistant.gov/, placing fraud alerts with all three credit bureaus, notifying your bank and employer and letting these criminals know you are aware they are attempting to extort money for a non-existent debt and have alerted the authorities.

I am having the same problem w a so called Michael Carter...telling me a lot a sh*t nd I ask what its for nd he says he can't discuss it with me....I'm like its on me nd u can't tell me what its for...he's like no u need to take care of this or ur going to jail....so I did the next best thing reported them to my sheriffs department......so f*** you

I just received a call from 415-952-3898 telling me that I need to contact my attorney and that I will be receiving a call from the sheriff re: a payday loan that I did not have the fnds to pay back.  They have called me twice today.  They told me to call and ask for Michelle Brown and the paralegals name was John.

I am receiving calls from this number and I can' even understand the person talking because she is foreign.  I wanrt the calls to stop!!!!1

I just receieved a phone call from this number from a Chris Tyler.  I didn't answer it.  I tried to call the number back and I can't get anyone to answer on the other end.  They said it was an urgent call from the Department of Legal Affairs. I am 100% sure that this is a scam.

I got a call today from and unknown number and told me to call 415 -952 -3898 somebody file a case on my name and ss# at the same time i google the number and look all the comments about the number he gave it to me

They call me at the first time and tell me I got $500.00 they need my account number to transfer the money in and they told me it a payday loan company I didnt know it a scam I gave them my wife's account number because at the same time my wife applied for the loan of $500.00 she left the home and live me the account number but she forgot to tell me her bank name. At the end of the day we check the bank they didnt transfer any money I told my wife to closed the account, we still didnt closed it about four days later the same people call and told my wife she got a case I ask my wife what did he said he said and she said hes asking for her name and the last four number of her ss# then he said she got a case at the court our me and my wife almost say good buy to me because shes really worried about it. We call the court house and ask them but they said there is no case under her name...
