I recieved a phone call in reference to this scam too.  It really put a huge question in my head on how they obtained my information.    I hate people like this. I hope they stop these creeps.

Called twice within 2 minutes.  I didnt answer.

i have been recieving calls from this number 415-952-3898 i had a message that said his name is andrew wise. and he adviced me that my attorney and i should contact him immediatley. he was very rude. so when i heard the message on my phone of course, i called it back. the man on the phone said andrew was his legal department and if my lawyer and i didn't respond quickly they would have a warrant issued for my arrest. i laughed at them and told them to do what ever you have to do, because i havent recieved any loan or had any business transactions with anyone so i knew it was a fraud. later that day that guy i talked to the second time calls me back just laughs on the phone and hangs up.

something has to be done with or to this person calling day in and day out one day he is working for the Federal Trade Commision and the next day he is working for some legal affairs my God what can be done to stop these calls?

I got the same exact phone call this morning from an Indian man (im employed by Indians so I know their accent) my husband answered and I told him to tell them to take us off the list assuming they were solicitors the man on the phone said he needed to speak to me immediatly my husband hung up he called right back so I picked up the phone & it was the same man saying he called to inform me that my ss# and name was being sued.....ummm ok?????? I asked him what that means he said all he can do is give me a # to contact a lawyer at first I didnt realize the # he gave me was the same  # he called from when I called the # a woman answered with the same accent stating she was a paralegal I said what is this about she said a payday loan....i never took out a loan she than says ''well maam are you aware you are being placed under arrest today'' I said theres noway because I never took out a loan I asked her when her answer was ''along time ago'' I told her I dont know what this is about I asked where did she get my info she hung up on me I kept calling back and just got a beeping sound than when a actual human answrred they kept hanging up on me I later checked my bank account to find out an automated check was made out and money was taken out of my account from this company I filed a complaint and also reported this number to the fbi I hope the sheriffs knock on their door withh a VALID arrest warrant for fraud

I have been getting alla from this number and threats to be arrested some I know their scam because it happened to me before I told her that I was suing her for $10000 she didn't even know what to say an she hung the phone so as they did to me I repeatedly called them asking for their information an reminding them of how big of a scam they were and they are now very frustrated an wont even pick up the phone or if they do thy just listen and hand up lol this is too funny someone needs I find out who these people are she told me haha I am in india you can't do anything to me. We need to harass them like they are harassing us they hate it I call them every minute they hate me they jut messed with the wrong person

this number called me within 5 times of each other. I had to keep hanging up because of the kids. When I answered one of the times, he asked me why i wouldn't talk to him. I told him I had to take care of the kids and didn't have time to talk to him. If you are a collection agency, why are you calling on a Saturday for? Never seen or heard of any place doing that.

This number called me this morning and the caller was a foreign sounding guy asking me to let my lawyer call them for a very urgent matter. I blocked the number...

these ppl r nuts tellin me im going to federal prison lol....... i reported their information to the local sheriffs office and the BBB Acting as if he is a lawyer

the same exact thing happened to me same way... but i recognized rite away...so i started harassing him and he got mad n was hanging up on me HAHAHAHAHA

I received a call from this number today at home and 2x on my cell. Someone with an Indian accent named Albert asking all the same things are previously stated. Stating I must call them back with my attorney and if I disregard the call that all he can do is "wish you luck". He was very difficult to understand and said something about an arrest and a loan. I have not called them back since I see this is a scam. I will report them to the authorities.

This is a number that is calling with personal information.  They are advising that they are from a law firm in Canada and they are calling for attorney Michael Carter.  This is a scam to get money.  Anyone who has recieved this call do not respond with any of your information.  REPORT THIS CALL REPORT THIS CALL.  These are some low down dirty lazy people trying to get you hard earned money.  They need to get a real job and stop attempting to take advantage of people.  They are they are loooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooosers that are to lazy to get a real job.  DO NOT FALL FOR THIS BS.

I called these people back and advised they I know its a scam.  The female on the phone became angry and started cursing and call me names.  I advised her that this scam would not work and that I would tell everyone I could about this scam.

This number called me as well pretending to be a law firm. After I mentioned the police they hung the phone up and would not answer. My number is new so theres no way anybody woukd have it especially an attorney.Be aware. They are scam artists to will call you fromdifferent numbers. They are Pakistanis terrorists scanning to get you personal information to use.

Just came home to a message that I could barely understand except for my name.  Called back and asked why they were looking for "him" the guy hung up on me.  I decided to call back to see if this was a scam and asked him his name.  He said his name was Michael and when I asked him how to spell it, he said are kidding you don't know how to spell it and he hung up.

I HAVE RECIEVIED 5 CALLS SINCE YESTERDAY AND SOME A COUPLE OF WEEKS AGO ONE AT 2 O'CLOCK IN THE MORNING,  MY DAUGHTER TOLD THEM OFF YESTERDAY AND TOLD THEM TO NEVER CALL AGAIN BUT THEY DID THIS MORNING.  I THINK THEY SHOULD BE ARRESTED.  I HAVE CALLED THE POLICE AND FILED A REPORT.  NO ONE IS COMING TO ARREST ME.  I THINK THEY ARE HORRIBLE LEACHES AND SHOULD NOT BE ALLOWED TO DO THIS.  HOW DO THEY GET OUR PERSONAL INFORMATION. I HAVE NOW PUT THEM IN MY CONTACTS AS SCAM.  I WILL NO LONGER ANSWER THESE CALLS.

This is a criminal extortion scam operating out of India. They are making the calls utilizing VOIP and the names of legitimate firms to make it appear the calls are originating from within the US. There is NO "company" or "debt" and you will NOT be arrested. They are harvesting and/or buying consumers' personal identifying information from unscrupulous websites like the one you may have filled out an application with, and you need to do whatever you can to protect yourself. This includes: Notifying the FTC: https://www.ftccomplaintassistant.gov/, placing fraud alerts with all three credit bureaus, notifying your bank and employer and letting these criminals know you are aware they are attempting to extort money for a non-existent debt and have alerted the authorities.
