I recieved a call and voice mail on 12-11-12 stating that I was giving a loan and failed to pay the loan off. The person who left the message was Eric (his last name I forget but is on my message) and the person I spoke to when I called the number her name was Michelle, both times I called the people were from indian. The voice mail was threating as well and when I attepted to talk to the women she threatened me stating that I am being taken to court and that I will recieve something at 11:00 on 12-12-12. She had my last 4 numbers of my social security number, my cell phone number, and multiple work numbers and the name of my company.

got the same call.... several times a day for past couple days.... most times when you call back all i got was a beep... when i finally got through some guy with a heavy insian accent said his name was Harry Joseph and went through the whole speal about how i was going to be arrested tomorrow etc etc... im so glad my son goggled this number and found this site...

OMG I am so glad I just Googled this number and I know it was not a real facility because I called back and bout 2 min into the conversation he put me on hold..SMH where they do that at...

I've gotten several phone calls and voicemails from this number. The lady called me a f*cking idiot yesterday so I called my attorney to let them know about these phone calls. I called back several times, got no answer. This morning at 7:35 am I get another phone call from them, I said that I notified my attorney of there harassments and threats, that they have the information & will be contacting these scam artist back. I said "I'm not stupid, I know you're a scam! Go ahead and keep leaving messages on my voicemail, it only strengthens my case against you!" the man hung up. We'll see if they call me back!

I got this phone call 3 times on Friday and they called my work number as well. I had left for the day. The guys name was Michael Brown. When I tried to call from my work number on Monday, no one would answer, I work for Metro Government. When I called from cell number they did. I believe I saved the message that he left on my cell Friday stating I needed to call back or have my lawyer call. I told him today I didn't know what he was speaking of and ask that he speak slow so I could understand. That seemed to upset me and he told me someone from the sheriff department would be picking me up tomorrow. He had my home address

I just received a call at both home and work numbers they left voicemail at my home number and got me at work number. He was totally rude, thick accent, and very threatening. He told me that someone's filed a law suit against me and that I need to call their senior attorney to discuss. And when I said no just serve me with papers then he got mad and said "May you suffer the consequences of the LAW then Tracy!" He knew my social security number though and that part really bothers me , if I didn't have such bad credit it seems he has enough info to open accounts or get loans under my name . Does anyone know what we all have in common that would make us vulnerable to these scammers? Is it payday loans? Cause I recently did one. The worst part is he keeps calling me at work and I work in hospital that does not like us getting personal phone calls at all let alone like this.

If you ever applied online for a payday loan, your personal identifying information is out there to be hacked and sold on the internet black market.

This is a criminal extortion scam operating out of India. They are making the calls utilizing VOIP and the names of legitimate firms to make it appear the calls are originating from within the US. There is NO "company" or "debt" and you will NOT be arrested. They are harvesting and/or buying consumers' personal identifying information from unscrupulous websites like the one you may have filled out an application with, and you need to do whatever you can to protect yourself. This includes: Notifying the FTC: https://www.ftccomplaintassistant.gov/, placing fraud alerts with all three credit bureaus, notifying your bank and employer and letting these criminals know you are aware they are attempting to extort money for a non-existent debt and have alerted the authorities.

They call and threaten me with harm!! Is there no way to stop this? I worry about my children's safety. They have a screw loose and won't stop. Police cannot do anything until it is too late......

I got a call several times threatening me that I'm going to jail for a payday loan.  This is bull.  These people need to be found and prosecuted.

I just  got a call demanding i call this guy Michael Carter I called the nuber back with no answer . I asked the guy how did he get my work number and would not answer me told me he wanted my lawers name I said i have no lawyer and what is this all about and he said  he could not tell me he did not  have my case file he said it had something to do with the irs . how can this be report  cause they called me on my work number where  did they get that and if they  have that what  ellse f=do they have on me ??
