I'm suspecting that one to be a scammer too...samaralawrentz@yahoo.com. It looks like a predefined formula. I found it on Craiglist... 2nd floor, Kochendorfer building, 413 West Broadway, New York NY 10012.
To bad...it was looking very nice this appartment!

This person has just posted another add on Craigslist for an apartment in Greenwich Village at $50 a night, using the name of Sherri Gordon. I googled her and found this thread - thank you to all that previously warned! I am not in the States, but isn't it possible to report her email to NY police somehow?

I met an elizabeth collins on craigs list that is trying to sell a truck but i just realized its a scam

I just tried to buy a 2006 Toyota Carolla from "Elizabeth Collins" and we quickly figured out it was a scam-- thankfully soon enough to where we could get our money back. She claimed that he husband was being deported to the military and that she was pregnant and tried to get rid of her car before she moved. DON'T BE FOOLED.

That's great! "Elizabeth Collins" was the (original) star of the 1960's gothic soap opera "Dark Shadows". Played by the late Joan Bennett. On the show her full name was "Elizabeth Collins Stoddard". These scammers pick great names!

Add Ashelyn Arias to the list... Knew it was too good to be true... Never sent her money but asked how can she prove she wasn't a scammer. Because she asked for deposit via money gram and I told her craigslist clearly states not to wire money... No response

yes, i ve been scame by gbnson@yahoo.com , im from argentina, and i payed in advanced. when i arrive to new york , there were NO appartment, i couldnt believe it, i called the phone number and this men hang uo on me all the times. after crying for almost all day, i ended up with my boyfriend in a queens motel. i hope nowone else goes trough what i went trough ...

I pray that this didn't happen to me I have been sick on a death bed for 8 yrsfrom lupus n 2 strokes n finally I am strong enough to do things with my family again I saved up 250 to rent an apartment listed on Craigslist for NY for $50 a night the address given is kochendorfer buildings for tomorrow n Sunday please God tell me I am finally going to go on a mini vacation after being sick for so long or I was scammed!!
