these are phishing scammers trying to get credit card info.  The DNC list is provided to "legitimate businesses" that do telemarketing sales.  They will not call you.  Scams/frauds do not have access to the list and if they did would not follow it since they are a fraud all together.  If you are on the DNC list, any call that sounds like a sales call should be a red flag as real businesses would follow the list.  Report scams/frauds to the FTC and possibly your attorney general.  If it was a recorded voice you can also file a robocall complaint with the FCC.  Then block the numbers from calling.  Do not answer numbers you don't recognize as once they contact a live person they continue to call.  The same with pressing their removal options, that only confirms to them that they got a live person.  If you are on the DNC list you do not need to be on anyone else's company DNC list.

Got the call and did not answer. The answering machine picked it up and with no message left just hung up. My blocked call list is full  and the Do Not Call list is a joke. If you block the current number they will just get a new number and back in business again. Answering machine is the best defense.

This number called yesterday and today.  I suspected a scam and after seeing the many comments on here, I see that my suspicions are correct.  I never answer calls with numbers I don't know.  Thanks to the others for reporting these scam calls.

Sir Bedevere, you are not correct.  A business/telemarketer that calls your number once it's published on the DNC list is violating the law.  Perhaps you should read the law it before WTF-ing how stupid the rest of the world is.

Caller ID changed three times within five (5) rings. Left no message.

The DNC works great!  Now every time I get a call from a "telemarketer" I absolutely KNOW that it's a really a crook calling.  Before I couldn't tell if the calls were legitimate or a scam.  Now I KNOW it's a scam and I hang up immediately knowing that I'm not being rude.  I'm being SMART!

The DNC works.  Keep in mind that just because there are laws against bank robber, that doesn't mean that bank robberies are going to magically stop.  But with the law in place you know that every bank robbery is a crime.  Would you prefer the the legislature repeal the laws against robbery and make robbery LEGAL again?  I didn't think so.

suspect scam?  Ask for name. Then ask for address. Then ask for supervisors name.  Then ask where they got your number.  Any other questions that come to mind and they will quit.

Did not answer and never will.  So many calls each day from scammers and telemarketers I now let the answering machine screen all calls.

Caller ID said Local with the phone number.  Local my foot, not our area code at all.  So tired of all these calls.

Just received a call from this number at 1:15pm - caller ID read "Member Services" - no message was left.

No Message left. Called the number back, recording said to press any digit to be taken off of their list.  I just hung up.  CID said "Local"  but this  is an Arizona area code, I am in North Carolina.

These morons called my DNC listed landline today at 1444 hours.  Because they called a DNC listed phone, I knew they were scam artists.  For the heck of it, I picked up the phone but said nothing.  After a moment, the call disconnected on its own.  So obviously it was a scam artist using an illegal idiot-message that was waiting for someone to speak before triggering.  I blocked the number but they'll just spoof a new one.

Automated message from a woman calling about my credit cards, saying there is no problem but blah, blah, blah. I don't have credit cards. I hung up before any more "information" was given.

This number is a FAKE and doesn't work when called back.   Fake company, fake number REAL SCAMMER.

Medical alert something. If DNC worked why don't we hear of somebody fined big time?  I have not seen an example of any scumbag ever being prosecuted.

No message. As if I will answer a call that says "Local" that is not my area code.

Call landed in my Google Voice spam folder, no message left.
