Weird indian guy asking for our tax ID number.  Caller ID says google very sketchy call notified the FTC.

has been re calling numerous of times, portraying them selves as something Oasis so I've Blocked them

Scammer pretending to be from Google. Once you get a call from 650-253-2000 they never seem to stop, they just keep coming in daily from different numbers. If you answer....you have been scammed! If you call the number back.....you have been scammed! BLOCK

They said their from google

Google maps updating business location information. But, my problem is it took 3X asking who was calling and why before they said who they were and why...So I still question the call since they were not upfront. Hung up.

Same thing Google Maps calling and they call about 15 times a week. I have reported them to the Do Not Call Registry.

It's Google, they didn't say anything identifying who they were, but I kinda figured it out. They were just getting clarification on how to get to our building.

A man with a very heavy accent called to verify the business and our business address. He did not identify himself with Google maps until I asked why he was calling. Then he hung up.

Female caller, stated she was looking to confirm business hours. Had to ask to see where she was calling from, stated Google maps. Asked to confirm address. I knew at that point they were not from Google as Google has our incorrect address. Pretty sure they are looking to record someone saying YES in order to play into their scam!

This number, my caller ID says California, calls everyday, leaves no msg, and when I answer there is no answer..

I'm talking with Google Business now.  It's a scammer, whatever information you gave them, was too much.  Maybe instead of thinking others are paranoid, you might be too trusting.

These are fake calls. They pretend they represent
Google, then when you go through the whole process with them they try to seek you a key to protect your listing etc. for hundreds of dollars.

The caller ID really says "Google Inc."  A female with foreign accent asked to verify our address.

I would appreciate your company posts somewhere on the internet if this is not your company legit phone# so people are aware of scam.

OK, this time a guy with British accent wanted to verify our info.  So what happened to the info they got on that 6/7 cal?
Highly doubt this is legit Google, Inc.

She called 4x and let it ring once and hung up.   About an hour later she called back, barely understandable, and asked when our grand opening was.  I told her we had been opem.aimce March.. She wanted to know the exact date, then hung up without another word. Rude.
