This Co. continues to call early in the morning around 7. At least wait until 9am.

The caller ID was indeed "spoof'd" ... How about KR Polymers Private Limited ... From Nalgonda, Gundrampalli, Telangana 508114, India ... But, when you call the number +1 (650) 253-2000 a recording says the number is indeed Google Maps ... An internal number that is used to call out on by its representatives to confirm business data, main website URL, main telephone number, main address, etc. They didn't ask for any information that was not already public. So, confirm away!

A four digit caller?

They keep calling but I cant understand what he's saying only that he is with Google Maps?

This is Google Maps and the call to me was legitimate. I work for a small non-profit agency. One of our volunteers' home addresses was inadvertently listed as the company's address on Google Maps. I tried to change it online last week and received a message that a Google Maps representative would be calling me to verify that I had the authority to change the information. I did not answer the phone yesterday when the number came across my caller ID and checked 800notes.com. I read a post that inferred that it could be a call from Google Maps. Today I answered the call. It was Google Maps and the customer service rep is taking care of the matter.

If someone's business is out of date or expiring.. Then that is their business.. Leave us alone.. If we want your service we will contact you... And I know 100% this is a lie because I have no business and your calling me????? Do not trust

Tried to call back and got the message that the number cannot be used to call back? My humble opinion, it's spam.

Same as everyone who missed the call. Called back to get the message about Google Maps and how they cannot receive incoming calls. They have called me three times in the past four hours.

I received 2 calls from this number. I have not answered as I don't know anyons in Calif. Going to block them.

This guy calls and in very terrible English and said he was with Google Maps and asked if my business was still in the area. Just another telemarketer.

I don't think it is paranoia, number spoofing is easy and now happening frequently so they can get around the laws not allowing them to call cell phones. I got a phone call from a local number and the person was definitely in India. The town I live in is only 450 people and we have no major businesses or call centers. They told me they wanted to verify and offer me a credit card from Citi Bank. I told them I would hang up and call them back. They quickly said to call an 800 number.

Worst call ever. They should be in jail !!!!!

That's fine. I understand you're just doing your job. However, My place of employment rents the building we are in. I explained that when the last idiot called and they hung up on me. Very rude and unprofessional.

Firstly, obviously everyone else here googled the number, otherwise, we would not be on this page. Secondly, you are a pompous jerk.

Called our business multiple times on Thanksgiving Day and left no messages!  The number on the caller ID says Google Inc who calls businesses on a National Holiday when most are certainly closed.

This number calls over and over and over. Heavily accented gentleman said he was from Google Maps. I told him to stop calling just like I have four times in the last week. He will probably be calling again before the end of the day. And I'll bet you $100 right now he isn't from Google Maps either.
