Same as everyone else. She claimed to be with Google Maps. I told her not to call me back, I will not answer any questions. She went ahead and waited about ten seconds then called back. I'm the only one who answers the phone so I told her, before she could speak, that I told her not to call back and hung up. She hasn't called again.

I knew this wasn't really Google, but answered anyway because they had the nerve to put it on the caller id.  Caller ID said "Google Inc" 650-253-2000.  Man said that he was from Google Maps and wanted to verify a few things.  He asked me what hour do we open.  I told him that Google doesn't call people and kindly asked him to take me off his list.  He said "Sure".  We'll see if that worked.  He is probably selling services to get listed higher for Google searches.

Same...but different.  The Caller ID read, "GOOGLE INC 650 532 2000" the caller was a lady with a very thick accent.   Although I had stated the organization name in my usual business greeting, she asked if she had reached (legal name of organization).  I repeated the name.  She asked to verify the address she had, which was incorrect.  I told her it was wrong,  and wished her a good day & a good bye.

I had 4 missed call from this guy! I finally was able to answer the call and a bunch of questions about my business! I am just curious. If it's Google Map trying to update their info., why isn't this question sent via email so people don't think is some crazy or salesperson trying to get personal info? How do we even know if this is Google maps? This is nuts!

Because it's not actually Google Maps calling. And do you really think someone who posted 9 years ago is going to return and answer your question?

I just a received a  call about an hour ago and an Indian accent guy is asking something I cannot understand so I hung up.

I got a call from this number and it was a lady asking about the date for our business grand opening. I told her we are working from home no office and she hung up. Just wondering if I had given too much information because this appears not to be Google as she stated.

Called to ask if I was opened today, which coincidentally I just submitted on google business.  English was very broken, but once I understood her question and answered,”yes” she abruptly hung up.

This number called and left a whispered message. The first part of the message is hard to understand. Then he whispered, "You have to be careful."

They called, breathed heavily into the mouthpiece in response to greeting but never actually said anything. They hung up/disconnected after short period of just breathing into the phone. Unsure if caller is water breathing creature that somehow found itself separated from the liquid environment needed to sustain it...or if it was an autodialing telemarketer that was not quite up to actually having a conversation with prospect.

Left message singing a Christmas carol. A very bad rendition of Angels We Have Heard on High. ;-)

They called 4 times yesterday 12:38 Pm,12:39 Pm, 12:40 Pm, 12:41 Pm but left no message. They really want to get me and have been trying for the last 4 yeas. Wouldn't they quit?

Me too, I received a call from this phone number.

Questionnant, Google Business m'ont appelé hier, pour me vendre un plan de protection. Aujourd'hui je recois un appel de ce numéro qui me demande mes heures d'ouverture, et 30 secondes plus tard  tout est changé sur mon profil. Ce n'était jamais arrivé avant.
Questioning, Google Business called me yesterday, to sell me a protection plan. Today I receive a call from this number asking for my opening hours, and 30 seconds later everything is changed on my profile. It had never happened before.

Likely scam call imitating google. Don't use google whatsoever. Scam probably targets businesses. Number now blocked.
