- Charlene EstesThe Blue Valley company at 785-799-3900 consistently calls our home phone. When I answered, no one is on the phone but they continue to call. I do not wish to receive these phone calls! That is why I'm on the Do Not Call list.

- GC replies to PotterI just called this number. It took 3 attempts to connect. Then Jennifer answered. She was pleasant and said that she would take me off their call list. I will post again if this doesn't work.
- DNC = Do Not Cry replies to WikiJim| 1 replyThe Federal DNC registry as well as state DNC registries, such as in my state, Florida, have NOT thwarted the barrage of preditory telemarketers who invade our privacy and use our phone services as their free marketing instrument. DNC = Do Not Cry, not Do Not Call. Do Not Cry when a telemarketer calls you because signing up on the state DNC lists may actually increases your changes you'll be called. It did for me... How? Legitimate telemarketers (that's an oxymoron) buy the DNC lists and run them through their robo call computers and live operator lists to make sure you don't get called and they don't get fined. But unscrupulous employees in these seedy telemarketing call centers sell the lists out the back door into the black market of scam telemarketers who run illegal operations, usually from overseas, using U.S. area codes/phone number purchased or leased, mainly from Pacific Tel, which the Feds have been after unsuccessfully for years. If BVTM was actually being prosecuted and fined to the full extent of the DNC law for every $11,000 violation in makes, it wouldn't be in business very long. If hackers can take down big companies and government institutions, surely the technology exists to hack the telemarketing terrorist home invaders, take down their websites and fry their predictive dialers and reverse jam their phone lines. Everyone has a right to left alone. Outfits like BVTM are home invaders. This is the third day in a row "BVTM 785-799-3900" has shown up on my Caller ID, and when I picked up, they hung up. If I was close enough, I'd go to their offices and shout at them; I'm not going to take it anymore.

Dear Sir or Madame
They called my work place several times, and when I picked phone up, they hang up.
Sincerely
Dr. Zhang - JIm replies to GRANDYHuh? What?? Why would you quote their SOPs ? How long have YOU been working there?
- Jim replies to weebieI'm not defending any telemarketer but, based on what I'm reading, they have an intelligent dialer system. It's not at all intelligent and needs to be tweaked daily, if not hourly by the programmers. The hang up calls are happening because the computer predicts when a telemarketer is going to be available. Before it dials your number, it is supposed to check it against the DNC database under penalty of law (Laughing hysterically) and then dials your number to be next in line. After you answered, it was not able to connect to a telemarketer(because the settings are incorrect.) Once that happens, the system will disconnect you and place your number back in the database to be called again. When it hangs up, there is no human hanging up on you, it's a computer. I used to program these pieces of crap and stopped because they are trash. Don't be too hard on these telemarketers, They are already stressed because they can't get work anyplace else and get yelled at by a large number of the johns they call. Their management doesn't care about them or Us their bottom line is to make money at any expense..

- Caller: BVTM

- Mike-in-MD replies to ACIPCOThen get your company lawyer to send them a cease and desist letter with threats of a lawsuit if the calls continue.
- EdI get this call once every few months at work. I just immediately send it to voice mail. Their system never leaves a message. If this was my cell phone or home, yes I would be pissed off too. All I can say is telemarketing must work or there wouldn't be so many of them. Only way to stop them is for people to just not buy anything from them.

- Sharonthey posed as a farm magazine that we get for free just for answering a few simple questions. But when they started getting very detailed in the questions I told her I would not answer she hung up on me. Let me know she wasn't renewing my subscrition.

- JJJI have had numerous calls from this number = 785-799-3900 for many days, several weeks. I never answer as my Caller ID tells me that Blue Valley is calling. Thank goodness for Caller ID. They can call all they want, I will never answer, and of course they will never leave a message. It is too bad some people don't have anything else to do but pester and irritate people. What do they get out of it???? Nothing from me. They are a poor excuse for a business. Maybe they should try getting a real job! And of course I am registered on the Do Not Call List. It is a worthless list. It doesn't mean a thing! So sorry.
- ReceptionistThis number has called for an executive at my work every single day this week. I finally picked up the phone on his behalf because he is on vacation, but they don't bother to listen to the voicemail message that would tell them that.

- At WorkAll I can say is thank goodness for caller ID. It comes in as BVTM, didn't bother to pick it up since it looks more suspicious than usual.
