When they called me they wanted to extend a free magazine subscription that I take. It is an IT related security magazine (SC magazine). They're telemarketers but I did sign up on thwe webiste a couple of years ago for the magazine. They just call me every year to confirm I still want the magazine. Call takes about 1 minute. They want to see my involvement in purchaisng and implementation of the stuff the magazine's  advertisers peddle. Not too intrusive considering I like the magazine. I would imagine they do the same thing for other magazines as well (Network World maybe, others?)

The reason people use the BBB is to look up a company BEFORE you use their services.  If I see complaints, I use someone else.  Simple.

Scammers will NOT stop - FCC rules & regs are not tough enough, nobody to enforce them, and the scammers just keep changing phone numbers.  Companies receiving all their trash phone calls and spam faxes don't have the time to take these scumbags to court and the fees/fines aren't harsh enough to make a difference.
Only legit businesses will remove you.

Got a call from this number. Lady asked to speak to someone that handles telecommunications for the company. Person was unavailable but she seemed pleasant and not pushy. We will see what happens.

They left no message but keep calling my office number.

My cell phone 'DNC' lists consists of saving the number as a 'contact' and then converting that number to silence for a ringer. Never notice a second call.

I have been called by the 1-785-799-3900 many times in the same day at my Federal Government phone number.  I called the 1-785-799-3500 number today and asked them to put both my office and cell phone on the Do Not Call list, and the lady was polite and said they would do it.

Called me yesterday.  No sweat off my back, I just don't answer.  But I love these websites, they satisfy any curiosity I would have had.  Thanks all.

I'd noticed calls from 785-799-3900 appearing on the call log on my desk phone a couple of times a week for months, but they never left a message. I found the number here, called the 785-799-3500 number everyone has referenced, and asked to be removed from the database. She was pleasant and asked for my number and the number that they called from, and that was it. I wish our own corporate help desk was as efficient.... :-)

I have been recieving this call for at least three times. I have not picked up the phone, but they did leave a message. This IS a telemarketing call.

Party's***  Potter is offering a simple solution to your massive (in your own mind) problem. That doesn't make him an idiot.That makes him an adult... And smarter than you. You have fun getting calls in the middle of the night because you are too stubborn to call. The rest of us can sleep well since we used Potter's information. Thanks, Potter!!

I get enough of this type of call to my workplace that I pretty much can tell that BVTM is somebody wanting to sell me something ... so I just let them ring.  

I have received several calls from these guys in the past week or two.  If it gets to be too annoying I will have to file a complaint with our legal office.

received numerous calls the [past few days from this number.  Comes up BVTM on caller id.  Have no idea who it is and leaves no messages.  Please stop calling.  Going to authorities to file police reports and the attorney general and lawsuit for harassment, etc.

It's true, they were very friendly when they removed me from their list. They've had the same 799-3500 number for over 5 years so they're more legit than the reduce your interest rate robo-callers.

I've received several calls from these idiots and Icalled back leaving a message asking them not very nicely not to call again.

They are calling my office number several times a day.

truth is they want you to call and ask to be removed from their list  that way you have just verified that you are a live person with a good phone number, true you won't many times get another call from that number because their objective has been completed, they are using many numbers that is why they ask which number you are calling about,  your number is then sold  to another company for a premium or maybe 10 more compaines and this goes on and on....no way to really stop this except dont answer and hope our goverment does a better job at stopping it....... heck I would say it is a possibility when posting on here your ip address is recorded and sold...who knows this day and time.
