They wanted to "update information" for a free magazine subscription. This is usually not good as they want to collect information for future telemarketers or spam faxes. I just say the person they ask for (me) isn't here ... and that this is a sales desk for taking orders, no owners are here. It works getting rid of these good for nothing butt wipes.

I have called back several times to inform them on their message to cease calls. They call 1-2 calls a day to our business. You answer and no one is there and then a disconnect.  They are wasting their time and my time in answered the Business line.

I received a call from Amy today stating she wanted to talk to the owner of the company.  I told her he is not available and asked her for her phone number.  She asked me if I can make decisions for the company and when I told her I can not, she hung up without giving me her phone number.  Thank goodness to caller ID I got the number: 785-799-3900.

Needless to say, I found this information from the BBB:
    http://www.bbb.org/wichita/business-reviews/t ... n-home-ks-16728.

Amy is the manager and the company got a bad rating!!!!

Blue Valley Telemarketing began operations in January of 1991. In 2004, we acquired the telemarketing operations of Integrated Sales Solutions, Inc., an award-winning B2B service, expanding our offerings into the publisher services area.

Blue Valley Telemarketing's goal is to establish an impeccable reputation in the telemarketing industry. With our parent company being a telco, we have a strong focus on providing competitive, quality-driven service.

Staff - Blue Valley’s TeleServices Representatives (TSR’s) are carefully selected, trained, and assigned to support your campaign. They are all full time employees and completely dedicated to your campaign from start to finish.

Our experienced Technical Support (TS) team will contact your fulfillment house and secure fast and smooth data transfer from and to them.

Work Environment - Blue Valley maintains a professional yet relaxed work environment. While TSR’s are closely monitored to assure optimum campaign execution and ongoing campaign activities, Blue Valley employs individuals who are self-motivated and have a strong work ethic. Blue Valley provides motivational activities and a team environment.

Blue Valley assigns project leaders to all TeleServices campaigns. The ratio between number of supervisors and TSR’s assigned to any campaign is 1:10 or better.

Project Process – Upon your approval, each TSR will be assigned to the campaign for 40 hours a week. The TSR’s will make between 25 - 45 attempts per hour resulting in 6-25 finalized calls per TSR hour. The number of attempts and finalized calls vary as it is effected by:

The length of the script (short or long version)
Script type (new acquisitions, re-qualifications, etc.)
Quality of calling list (% of bad numbers, available people, etc.)
       Subscribers job function

Unless otherwise advised by you we will normally make at least five (5) attempts to reach each person before abandoning further attempts. Daily updates based on previous days calls will be forwarded to you.

We forward you our “Campaign Spec Sheet” describing your campaign goals and expectations. Please review and approve it before the start of each project.

Script – We will write (when needed) and send your script to BPA/AAM for approval. We are completely automated. Using a predictive dialer with Branch scripting enables the TSR’s to be very productive. It provides an environment where the reps can capture all prospect responses quickly and accurately. This enables the TSR to move expeditiously into the next call. Captured data is easily accessible for reporting.

Reports - We provide you easy and clear daily reports (by noon Central Time). Our Daily Reports contain information about our performance for the previous day, cumulative for the week and for the campaign to date, so you can follow our performance every step of the way. Other analysis reports (based on your campaign needs) are available as well i.e. : promo code analysis, conversion analysis, and many more.

I realize this an old post, but it needs addressing
They are NOT legit. They are, in fact, violating the do-not-call laws.
Just because they purportedly do business with a company you have done business with, doesn't excuse them at all. The law is based on having done business with THEM.
They, also, are required to take you off their list at your request, under ANY circumstances.

Great...I just received my first call from this place.  Asking for someone in another department.  I advised they were not in, they asked to speak to their assistant.  I said there was none, and the hung up.  Afterwards, i looked this number up and see this message board.  Now I know next time to just ignore the call.

In the past couple of days I've gotten three calls from BVTM. I Googled the number and landed here. After reading the posts about calling 785-799-3500 to ask to be removed, I figured nothing to lose - I have nationwide calling. Called the number, and spoke to a very nice, very professional lady named Jennifer. She instantly agreed to my request that my number be removed. If you are sick fo them calling and really want a solution, it's probably worth a 30 second phonecall to make it stop.

The number was correct for Blue Valley Telemarketing like the other individual said. (1-800-882-0803) A human answered the call when I called in and she ask if I had the number that had been trying to call me and I told her 785-799-3900 (BVTM). She says that helps them locate it in their database quicker. I ask her to remove my number from ALL of their databases. She was very polite and said she would. Time will tell. Thanks for the tip!

I called the 3500 number, it was answered promptly. Gave her my number and asked to be taken off the call list.  She apologized for the intrusion and that was it.  Provided they stop calling,  I won't need to answer calls with "the whistle". Thanks to whomever gave the # to call for removal.
