My husband ordered Valentine's day flowers from ProFlowers. The next month, we noticed a $1.95 charge from EZ Saver dated the day he placed the order. We called the credit card company and they credited the amount. The next month, there was a $14.95 charge. I had to get new credit cards issued to prevent them from charging the account again. What they are doing is illegal and they should be sued.

Interesting according to you that so many people "cannot read" and therefore continue to be scammed by Proflowers and Easy Saver.  Trust me, college graduates can read and given the enormous numbers of people who have suffered from these despicable companies and their scams, there is nothing legit about it. If this was a legimate operation, I hardly think the merchant would be so apologetic and willing to immediately cancel my "membership" and refund every penny they charged my card.  Perhaps my mentioning the fact that I read all about their scam on the internet and would be contacting the BBB as others are doing helped. I strongly recommend all consumers affected by Easy Saver and Proflowers call 800.355.1837 and demand their money back.  Next step:  BBB

My wife got the same charges of $14.95 on her bank card to ez saver 877-699-9619. and when I called the number it was to a guys cell phone in TX. but when he called me back he was using a Ct. cell phone number.
She never went to "pro flowers" but she did make a buy at cheap party's oriental trading company. but she made the buys last month around the dates Fed 16th.
I now have the Kentucky State Police internet crimes division,BBB and also the FBI's internet crimes division. it's starting to sound and look like this is a pyramid scam system. but someone will go down for this!!!!

    Bob..you are a tool!!
I too (as many others) inadvertently "enrolled" in easysaver. This was poor business practice (or very good practice is you are trying to scam people).
The T&C are not clear and the online ordering from Proflowers makes it appear that this is part of the order process

    Hot Under the Collar
I WAS a loyal proflowers customer for years UNTIL I noticed the 1.95 and 14.95 charge that started showing up on my credit card.  I called proflowers and they were aware of this issue and said that they have a
person by the name of Margaret Kliman that handles these complaints and  she would call me back on Monday. We'll see what happens.  I will also be calling the 1.800.355.1837 number on Monday as well.

In addition I told Herman (customer service rep) I would never use proflowers again, and he said he was sorry but there was nothing else he could do..... I explained that I would be blogging about it on myspace and other forums as well as sending emails to all my friends and family advising them of this scam.  Again all I got was "I'm Sorry".

How pathetic that what used to be a well respected company has now climbed into the gutter of sleezy commerce to take advantage of our hard earned money.

Luckily I live in San Diego and know exactly where proflowers offices are in Sorrento Valley, if necessary I will take this matter to thier door step until it's resolved.

Unauthorized Charges made by "EasySaver Rewards" I just notice that my Credit Card was being charge $14.95 since February.  I try to call the 800-355-1837 and I got a voice recording asking to enter my credit card #, which I refuse to do. I called my CC company and disputed the charges and closed my CC immediately. I never agree to this charges or sign up for anything rewards.

    Pissed-off-sob,
Did you ever get the subsription or whatever EZ saver wants to call it, cancelled off the card?  I aslo ordered something back in Feb through oriental trading & fell for a "$10" coupon off your next order. When I clicked on the suppose coupon it threw me into the EZ saver site. I stated NO, & now have the 1.95 & the 14.95 charge on my credit card. I'm about to call the only number for this EZ saver 877-699-9619 to get it cancelled & have the charges taken off my card. Pissed in Pa.

Hi Bob, It's obvious that you are speaking for the younger generation.  I'd say Kudos to You!, ...You are among the very lucky ... nothing to do with reading! ... Just a Marketing Techique that knows it must have a certain amt. of success among patrons in order to "LOOK LIGITE!"  Howsabout the seniors who just happen to answer their phone hoping to hear a friendly voice with perhaps a moment of kind conversation! Which inturn  soon produces unauthorized charges coming thru on this "UNSUSPECTING SENIOR CITIZEN'S acct.  When asked if they are a "MAJOR CREDIT CARD HOLDER" ... all the work is half done and the trust of the citizen being targeted and victimized is soon complete! I could go on ... but am too busy in litigation for this very special friend to elaborate any longer.  Please be aware that NOT ALL SCAMS and UNAUTHORIZED CHARGES are generated thru computer technology.   Concerned for us all!!! Hey BoB, do you work for this company. I was on the phone with an employee that ensured me that I would not be signed up for the club or anything else. Then they charged my cc anyway. Maybe this company needs to take responsibility for there fraud!

I just called EZ Saver and complained about the charges.  They said that I voluntarily signed up, but that was not the case.  They first said they would refund 2-months, and then I asked to speak with her supervisor.  The supervisor offered an additional 8 months.  I said that would be fine, but I was still going to report them to the BBB, and then they offered a full refund.  The BBB is a great tool to use when faced with a company that does not resolve your problems.  Good luck to you all.

I ordered flowers online from Proflowers and then this Easy Saver Rewards company charged my credit card $1.95.  I've been calling the 800 number all morning and it says that they are "currently experiencing system problems and are unable to process my call".  Very shady!!

Bob421, you are wrong and obviously work for the company since you have copied and pasted the same response all over the internet.
Proflowers is part of this scam, how else did Easysaver get my Paypal info? When I went into my PayPal to see who had privy to recurring charges on my account, it wasn't Easysaver... it was Proflowers! Explain that to me.
Also I never got any email from Easysaver with an account number so I can cancel my "membership". You call the 800 number and need this account number to talk to someone, yet it doesn't exist.
Some fair business practice you got there, huh Bobbo?

I agree!!! To me it seemed like part of my ordering process and my invoice from ProFlowers showed nothing about any other charges.
I called my bank and had the charge disputed and called EZSAVER and asked them what the hell was going on.  She was so sickly sweet that I immediately knew they were scammers. Especially when she said "Oh! I will be happy to cancel your membership"  I never signed up for any !@#$%^& membership!!
