Yeah, they answer if from HP in India and then tell you they can't help you with warranty problems because your warranty has expired (even if it is still current) and you don't understand what they are telling you in their version of english.

They are such liars. They want to charge $45.00 an hour to talk to you. Never ever buy a compaq presario from them, they sell defective motherboards and wireless cards. When I called they suggested I buy their new laptop and they could help me for a charge if I don't want to buy another one. I know I will never buy anything from this terrible company again.

If you want corporate support for HP call the following number:
    800-756-0608 opt 7

They are the most worthless when it comes to support and fixing a product that they know has issues and they say, "We only told our customers about the problem if they called us. We didn't find a need to put it out any other way as the problem was so minute." Oh, and their alias names are to die for! "Eric", "Robert".... really!?

I called this number thinking it was a legitimate hp service.
I turned over the use of my computer so they could install my printer-----the process was long, and I felt they were scanning and getting all they could off of my computer.

This was May 24, no calls yet from them, I hope never.

Keep receiving calls from this number - but no one ever leaves a message.  We DO have a non-working Hewlett Packard printer-scanner-copier - but if someone is calling about that - why would they just call but never leave a message?  VERY strange!

If you are having trouble understanding someone from another country, you have the right to ask to be routed back to the United States and they will do this for you.

The techs in India are horrible. They are rude and insulting. I bought a computer with a bad mother board and it took 48 weeks to finally get it repaired. But they did offer to sell me more products.

I did get a call from this number. I asked the caller what they wanted and they said nothing. Why call if you have nothing to say? This way they can tell their boss that they called to resolve the problem?

I have to say that my experience this past month with HP service turned out very well.  I spent over 40 minutes on the phone and even though there was a bit of a language issue, the guy helping me did a good job.  It didn't hurt that they offered to provide tech support even though my one year had recently run out.  I believe my guy was in Pakistan.  He was very patient with me, and stayed with me urging me on as we worked through solving my issue.  Thanks HP!!

I called the number for help. I got someone who speaks a different language. We couldn't even understand each other. Horrible experience. I did not get my question answered. What is going on?

Someone from this number called to say my pc is infected with a virus.  Never told me how he knew about it, so I did not fire my company's technical support/IT guy.  I would however love to know why HP called when all our pc's are Dell and Gateway.

Don't know why they call me either......I'm Mac.  I have no printer.  I print form my workplace.  Often this number is answered and all is silent, then a recorded message...." Good bye ". And it hangs up.  I think they are scanning phone numbers for a future scam call.  I wish I was more like my friend, who is never tempted to answer an unknown number and lets them all go to voice mail.  She says these calls are occurring with less frequency now that she doesn't answer.

They called me from this number which I did not ask for and starting saying my windows computer was having problems and they could help me fix it. I eventually just hung up on them.
