You might want to invest in a call blocker and NOT pick up on 800 area code numbers.  They are often used by scammers.

Called very early in the morning  (5:00 am) and left no message.  I am concerned it may be a scam.

BEWARE!!! This number 8004746836 is a phony HP scam trying to obtain control of your computer by telling you they need to clean out a virus. This is NOT Hewlett-Packard, they would never call you for that or anything else.

Beware this caller. It is NOT the legitimate customer service. It is a fraud, trying to get you to buy some HP service by using your credit card number. This is a PHISHING EXPEDITION, do not give out credit card numbers and certainly do NOT let them get remote access to your computer. HP customer service never calls you with a virus problem or any other problem. YOU are the one who should call the HP customer service number that you were provided with when you bought your product.

Knew it was a scam by the distinct radio frequency noise, horrible connection, and attempt at English. [***]! I mean get a life.

Just got a call from them not even 10 minutes ago talking to me about my refund that I got when I bought my computer. They hung up when I asked what refund and what computer.

Have had similar calls and they are trying to sell services.  Contacted HP via email previously and they confirmed at that time that their service dept  dealt with emails and provided service order #'s keeping track of problems only..  If you have issues with your HP computer than access their support through their system via internet.

I receive calls and hangups from this number too many times to count. A man with a strong Indian accent says that HP owes me $ for overpayment of services, wants to get info for the rebate. I asked for a number to call him back, but he hangs up. HP has been aware of this scam for years, but does nothing to take them down. Won't be buying HP again.

HP suckered me into a monthly charge after I made a service call.  I blocked my credit card because of it.  Ridiculous!  They tried 3 times in a row after I blocked the number on my phone.

I just received a phone call from this number identified on my phone as Hewlett Packard, with a womans muffled voice declaring that my windows key is expiring and to call the number she gave.

Wow!! Thx! This # was helpful in a knowledgeable way.

Was Answered live and I have a case # , name and offer of an HP gift certificate if Best Buy live office cann cannot get my HP Colot Laser Jet’s radio wifi reoperable so regular HP support 123.hp.com software can auto-find it and reinstall the driver.

This is a scam call. I have never owned an HP computer.

Said they were representing Microsoft. Had a thick Indian or Pakistani accent. They said I had a problem with Windows 10. Phishing Scam.

Received a call from Hewlett Packard, saying that I had a computer problem.  I don't even own a Hewlett Packard Computer, and I don't believe that Hewlett Packard would call me, unless I called them first.  I blocked the number.
