I answered using the speaker phone. "Hello!"  'Hi, this is John with DirecTV services. How are you Maam?'  I said "I'm not interested, thank you-goodbye!" and hung up.

scam. They wanted to steal $350 on an EBay gift card.

but call with no voice message, now means blocked

Couple calls lately from this number. Advertising upgrade internet and 'cable.' I do have DirecTV, which is what this is supposedly for, but it didn't sound legitimate anyway and I wasn't interested regardless. Just said no thanks and hung up. Hopefully no more.

garbage call...no message I do not have direct TV and have no need for it.

Dropped call to our business, which obviously doesn't use DirectTV.  So either wrong number or (more likely based on other comments) spoofed call.

Caller with an Indian accent, clearly working in a call center, said he was calling from AT&T & Direct TV. When I pressed him on that he said he was calling FOR AT&T & Direct TV and had a promotional offer. He refused to say which firm he actually works for.

Offered an unreasonable cut in Direct TV pricing for 2 years.  However, wanted first 5 months paid in advance.  That's when I hung up.

Had this # blocked, in order to get thou they add 11 before 800.

We've been called three separate times in two hours.  They want to "offer us a deal" even though we've just re-signed a contract.

DirecTv is the biggest scam I’ve ever seen. You talk about customer service? What customer service!? And you retailers try to add on protection plans and offer more services to get a bite of those add ons. Even add them when declined! So screw you

Hey Direct TV, if this is you, I’m on the Do Not Call List. Do you understand what that means?! I don’t have your stuff and never did. And why are you calling on Memorial Day!!!

This is a scam!!!! Be aware they offer you a discount on your DirecTV package if you pre-pay 5 months a6 $69.99 a month using an Ebay gift card. This not DirecTV or Ebay - do not give them any money

Scam call as always such an OLD SCAM just don't say hello.

We got a call from this number today. Caller id came up suspected spam. My husband answered because he just had triple bypass surgery on May 7 th and we have been getting call from doctors and others that have not revealed the name on caller id. The caller claimed to be AT&T saying they could cut the cost of our service. My husband who is a manager at AT&T and gets a managers discount on services told them no you cant to which they kept insisting they could. He hung up on them and plans on reporting it to the company’s security department. Because this person had information that was accurate and account related we believe it is either a current or former employee of one of the overseas call centers that AT&T  uses. The only thing i can recommend to anyone who gets one of these calls is do not answer it.

Missed the call; no message was left. I’ve never had cable TV, and I’m not interested now. I’m on the “Do-Not-Call” list, and these folks are lawbreakers. SCAM!
