U can stop calling me, how about that? the person became combative like they were doing me a favor. They call in order to make sure that they maintain your current information in case you fall behind and thats it. sallie mae sucks.

- To Credit CollectorsQuit pestering people and GET A LIFE of your own. If people are not answering their phone or paying their bill...what in the world makes you think you're harassment will change that???!!!! You're all a bunch of IDIOTS!!!! How do you know people are "deadbeats"? That's how debt collectors treat everyone and you haven't got a clue. You get a phone number and just keep harassing people because you have no life of your own!! STOP HARASSING PEOPLE!! When you don't get any where after a phone call or TWO then stop calling!!!! I just unplug the phone and figure you can just listen to the phone ring and it only wastes YOUR time not mine. If I want anyone to call me....I give them my cell number and still get any IMPORTANT CALLS that I want!!! Happy dialing!!!

- person replies to Shawn| 5 repliesyes they have called me about 15 times in the past 2 days. they are credit card scam and i am not even old enough to have a credit card
- Crabby AppletonThese pricks call my business AT LEAST 10 times a day. When I did answer the phone, it hung up on me. Now every time they call, I lift the phone and hang up on them. WTF is up with these [***]?
- JkkkThis is not Sallie Mae, it's some kind of phishing scam. Legitimate companies would not call the same person 10 times a day and put you on hold with a recorded message, or in the cas that a live operator is on the other end, ask for personal information. If anyone calls you and asks for your information, it's a scam. If Sallie Mae had anything important to tell you, they would either email or snail mail it, especially because legal notices need to be in writing.
- Caller: Someone pretendint to be Salie Mae
- abcJust tell them its the wrong number. They stopped calling me.
- Caller: Sallie Mae alias
- Josh| 1 replyYeah, it is sallie mae. I use this number to pay my student loans. It was given to me by my school so I know it isn't a scam. If they are calling then you must owe them some money or something. lol

- anonymousThis number calls me several times per day. It is for educational loans and is called Sallie Mae. The person who had my phone number before I did had educational loans. When I try to call the number back, it asks for the last four digits of the social security number of the user. There is no way to explain to a person that I am not the one that needs to pay.
- Caller: Sallie Mae
- kr| 11 repliesYeah this is sallie mae. I know it is, but they can kiss my a** because I don't have to answer them. They're just wasting their time calling me because all I have to do is turn off my phone or press ignore. It's really not that hard to do and my cell's voicemail is filled up so they can't leave a voicemail plus I never get that many important calls. If someone needs me they text and I'll read it when I turn my phone back on. so haha suckers, now what are you going to do about it? I hope they read this.
