- Annai would like this number no calling me no more.i not sure they called me for.
- B replies to ccI've had this happen regarding debt my brother owed. What these companies do is pretty much google or skip trace to see where the person owing the debt has ever lived. If they can find the info online, they call every phone number associated. This means they call any and all family members or old phone numbers. This is in hopes that someone will get tired of it enough to either pay the debt themselves or force the person to contact the debt collector.
As for not sending mail, they most likely don't have an actual office. This was the case when I tried to get a mailing address as well.
If they call again, try to get them to give you an address so you can "pay" the debt. Then file a complaint with FTC and BBB. Your state should also have a Consumer Help Line through the AG's Office. - Concerned callerThis phone number, although blocked, keeps coming to my phone. Please don't answer, don't call back, back give any regard to. The easiest thing to do is just delete the messages. The person who was on the call said his name was Bell Fasuso or something like that. I guess they don't that Bell is a girl's name.

- Anonymous replies to SCOOTERNice bogus post. LTD Financial is the worst. Apparently they just call random numbers or their info is so out of date that it's useless. It's 2018 and this company is still aimlessly dialing random people.
- KloomisJust got my first call from this number, saying it was about a debt collection. I know I am not beyond on anything, pay everything off when I get my bills, and if I 'were' late, I would get a notice from the company. After reading comments here, I am just going to ignore these people. (This call was on my answering machine, which is why I never take calls live; I have lived here 28 yrs so this is not a case of a previous owner deb, there was no bldg here before then!)

- Santa Claus replies to SCOOTERYou clearly work for them...not a single person for the past 10 years has anything nice to say about them...except you. Nice try.

- Not a scamGot a call from this number and didn't answer it. After reading these posts, I decided to call them back. Without giving them my name, I found out they were looking for someone else. The rep from LTD was very polite and thanked me for calling back. She said she would remove my number. This happened to me twice before (different companies) and things eventually worked out in my favor when I called back.

- Denise replies to jill| 1 replyTo Jill - I wouldn't cast the first stone. I'm sure you've got debts too. You're a deadbeat too and a hypocrite. I would love to say a lot more but you can all me anytime and I'll finish my thoughts. LOSER
- BigA replies to DeniseIs there a reason that you are replying to a 13 years old post with the expectation that they will see your reply instead of taking the time to read and learn the many informative posts that tell you what to do?
- Pauline replies to RyanJust received call from them wanting me to verify my social. Sorry I dont give that info out over phone
- Not Amused| 1 replyThey've called repeatedly and never left a message. I've tried to call them back and always get put on hold for several minutes then disconnected without having the company ID'd. No idea why they are calling, especially if they are a debt collector as stated in other posts. I don't owe anyone anything.

- BigA replies to Not AmusedAll the posts seem to point to a criminal organization located in Texas called LTD Financial Services, LP. Until I can gather more information:
It is incumbent upon them under the law to prove that the debt exists and that you owe it, and (this is the important part) that they have the legal right to collect it. You are not obligated under the law to prove that you don’t owe or that it is paid.
Federal law (FDCPA) requires them to send you a letter (US MAIL ONLY) postmarked within 5 days of their first contact that contains their name, physical address, the creditor’s name, and the amount of the alleged debt. It also must contains “mini-Miranda” telling you that it is an attempt to collect a debt and that all information will be used for those purposes. The one other important thing that this letter must also have in it is that you have a right to dispute the debt within 30 days of receipt of the letter and if you do so, all collection activity must be stopped until the debt is verified. If and when you get that letter you should immediately send that debt validation letter by certified, return receipt mail.
First, you should make a complaint at this Federal Agency, and while there you should also read up on how debt collection is supposed to work as well as what your rights in this matter are: https://www.consumerfinance.gov/
Also file complaints with the FTC: https://www.ftccomplaintassistant.gov/#crnt&panel1-1
Also file a complaint with your State Attorney General's office.
