- Pauline replies to RyanJust received call from them wanting me to verify my social. Sorry I dont give that info out over phone
- Not Amused| 1 replyThey've called repeatedly and never left a message. I've tried to call them back and always get put on hold for several minutes then disconnected without having the company ID'd. No idea why they are calling, especially if they are a debt collector as stated in other posts. I don't owe anyone anything.

- BigA replies to Not AmusedAll the posts seem to point to a criminal organization located in Texas called LTD Financial Services, LP. Until I can gather more information:
It is incumbent upon them under the law to prove that the debt exists and that you owe it, and (this is the important part) that they have the legal right to collect it. You are not obligated under the law to prove that you don’t owe or that it is paid.
Federal law (FDCPA) requires them to send you a letter (US MAIL ONLY) postmarked within 5 days of their first contact that contains their name, physical address, the creditor’s name, and the amount of the alleged debt. It also must contains “mini-Miranda” telling you that it is an attempt to collect a debt and that all information will be used for those purposes. The one other important thing that this letter must also have in it is that you have a right to dispute the debt within 30 days of receipt of the letter and if you do so, all collection activity must be stopped until the debt is verified. If and when you get that letter you should immediately send that debt validation letter by certified, return receipt mail.
First, you should make a complaint at this Federal Agency, and while there you should also read up on how debt collection is supposed to work as well as what your rights in this matter are: https://www.consumerfinance.gov/
Also file complaints with the FTC: https://www.ftccomplaintassistant.gov/#crnt&panel1-1
Also file a complaint with your State Attorney General's office.

- JudyThis LTD Financial calls me most every day! I don't answer calls I don't know so I have never answered them and they have never left a message. If it was so important that they need to call me daily you would think they would leave a message! I now know they are a Debt Collector which I have no unpaid debts so don't have any idea why they keep calling. I am also on the Do Not Call List for solicitors to not call my number! LTD

- LLCalled me regarding something that is not on my credit report and I am sure isn’t my debt. She told me to contact all friends and family to help pay this debt or they will start garnishing my wages. There is no evidence it is my debt.

A debt does not equal deadbeat! Some of us have fallen on hard times, some of us have cancer so you ma’am can suck it!
