I have recieved several calls from this number. It claims to be Nissan Corporation. When going through the menu it will corner you into entering your account # or SS#.

Why dont they leave a message then? The call from this number is bogus. It does not even match up to any of their U.S. based 1-800 numbers. Somebody is running an elaborate scam, so dont be ignorant of what is going on here! You provide either your account number or your SS number and they have you.

They called me two days in a row at 8:05 am.  I didn't answer.  But if what you're saying is correct, this must be a scam...I don't have a car loan and have never shopped at a Nissan dealer.

I received a phone call from this number.  How can I have them reported?  They wouldn't give their name when I asked whom I was speaking with.

had same problem i finance trough nisaan finace and they dont help at all after i gave them 16000 on payments for two years now that i need help lowering my payments they wont help me at all they tell me to finace through another bank and the car is not even worth what i owe on the vehicle so no one elase wanted to refinance the car so i droped it off and they keep calling and harrasing wanting for me to pay for that car that i dont have and all they care is about money not there customer care and also need som english speaking pepople not chinese or indians that i cant understand

I never owed a nissan, let along finance one!!!!!!!  These people are crazy and annoy me to no end!!!!!

This is a dental practice, this number 888-777-6116 shows up as not provided #, tracked it to Nissan-Debt Collector, this number calls then hangs up after we waste time announcing both doctors' names w/o leaving any message! It is form of harassment centered on possible employee. Called them about 2 weeks ago and asked to remove our business ofc #, they won't. Explained this number is not to be used for personal reasons other than that of the dentists! They still won't remove it. They call sometimes twice a day and just hang up! Takes up our valuable time to answer phone!

I am only $198 behind on payments with them..i won't answer there calls, can't understand anything they say, I know I'm behind but come on...there are bigger fish to fry than me..getting very irratted with the whole thing..

This company keeps calling and then hangs up! It's harrassment, they don't even SPEAK!  This is a PRIVATE office.  The phone number BELONG'S to the DENTIST.  I have repeatedly asked them to take us off their list, it's NOT to VERIFY EMPLOYEMENT, it's to harrass!  I personally am tired of answering the phone to have them hang up 2 or 3 times per day & I don't own a Nissian, I pay my bills & I don't have any collection agencies breathing down my back.  We have 3 phone lines & lot's of patients & that's all that should be calling our office.  Thank you.

I tried to call the number back and got a recording that says, Thank you for calling Nissan Acceptance corporation.  and then it disconnected.  I tried to call back several times and it would just disconnect.

I DO have a Nissan car with a car note of $300/month.  I was behind on my payment by less than two weeks, waiting for my next pay check.  My payment was due March 13th.  On April 2nd I got a phone call from them and I said I needed to pay my March and April note.  I said I put the check in the mail (true).  They encouraged me to sign up for auto-payments.  I declined.    They guy kept asking me "Are you sure you sent it?"  and it was clear he was out of the country, reading a script.  I reiterated that I put it in the mail that day.  Today is April 4th, and since that initial call I have received 3 missed calls from this same number, none of them with a voicemail.  My best option is to IGNORE as I've already sent payment.

Is two weeks really that behind?  C'mon now.

I got a new cell phone. Nissan Motor Credit is calling me from 800-777-6116 and from 320-229-8055.One time got a live person told him the problem. Calls keep coming.

They said they could not help me since I would not supply my SS # home address and home phone #.

I have started receiving calls from this 800# as of 4/12/11. I have not answered any of them, not for any specific reason. There have been no messages left. I do own a Nissan, but I am not late on any payments. I looked this # up in the search engine just to see if anything would come up. It seems most don't own a Nissan, a couple are just a bit late on payments, others don't owe anything on their Nissans. It is a BIG scam, but how they get our names? How to get rid of them?! I thought being signed up with the Do Not Call Registry would be enough, but guess not. BUT, a number can be reported with the Registry, which I am going to do right after this. This has been going on for years! Why hasn't Nissan done anything?!

Nissan Motor... I answered and no one said anything.  Called the number back, the operator said it's an automated machine that made the call.  I asked them to take me off their calling list and they did.

Is there a way to check if this is a scam? I don't have a auto loan with this company, bit they keep calling insisting that I do and they need my ssn to verify.

Same deal, only I was told it was impossible to remove the number from their autocall system.  I demanded the number to the corporate office and was told that they didn't "have the information".  Hilarious.  Oh well, our company has it's own lawyer, if they don't stop soon, I'll just refer the issue to him.

I blocked the calls from this number. I have verizon wireless. I happened to look at my plan and found this box that says "block calls" or something like that. I listed this number. I also listed another one about 1 1/2 month ago. And I didn't get any more calls from that number. So hopefully I don't get any more f**king calls from this s**t. So why don't you guys check to see if your cell plan offers something like that.

They call 5 times a day 8.am 9pm

Yup. The call never came through after I registered the no with my cell plan service.
