- NickI have received on average about 4 calls a day from 800 777 6116 starting on July 28, 2011 at about 9:30 in the morning. I still have not picked up this call at all. I am getting the calls on my mobile phone (the only phone I own, Virgin Mobile company). I am only 19, living on my own and going to culinary school. I do not own any cars (and my family has NEVER had a Nissan.. only Ford, Suzuki, BMW and Volvo.) , I only use the local bus/taxi system for the city I live in. So why I am getting this call, I have no idea!
- Caller: Apparently Nissan
- J MichiganI just started receiving calls from 800-777-6116 on my mobile phone - a number that I've had for YEARS. Haven't picked up either, even though I've received several calls a day from this number. I don't know how to block numbers on my phone but I did just set my ring tone for this number as "none". Hopefully, I won't even be alerted the next time they call. Oh, I've NEVER owned a Nissan either. My cars are paid off. I just need to figure out how to block this number from my phone. How irritating.

- SocratesMentorI own a Toyota I bought through...wait for it!!!...Toyota not Nissan!!!
My financing is not through Nissan...and I have never been late on any of my bills...ever...even in this economy.
Why are they calling me?!? .... unless for no other reason than to commit a crime.
Definitely a scam!!!- Caller: Nissan Motor Credit
- TARDHey - know what really bugs the bill collectors?
Answer the phone like a [***] child. Talk like Mongo in the movie "Blazing Saddles"
Send them what you can with a written letter and demand they respond in writing. If they don't you might have an action against them under the Fair Credit Collection Act.
Thank goodness for Caller ID. At least I have the choice to answer or not. And if it comes up as "Unknown Caller" or "Blocked" call I sometimes pick up and immediately hang up. No use is taking time to try to discuss anything with someone who has no comprehension of the English language unless I want to play the [***] game - Kirstin replies to Jack| 1 replyMaybe it wasn't the loan terms, maybe you just wanted to buy a car you really couldn't afford. $900 a month for a car payment is more than most people's rent.
- Practice AdministratorNobody in our office has a Nissan. Why are they calling here?
- MarkIndian outsource for Nissan Finance. Call repeatedly when payment is still within the grace period. Ask for Social Security numbers. I will never again finance anything from Nissan.

- Answer ManYadaYadaYada Same story as everyone else. OK If Nissan, or any forgien company wants to sell cars here in America, to American's, then a few things need to happen
1. If they want to sell Nissans in America, a full 50% of those automobiles MUST be manufacturered here.Lets open our plants back up
2.Financing MUST be through American lenders. Dont like it? Keep your cars in Japan.
3. NO OUTSOURCING If they want to talk to me about my finances they had better speak English as a first language.I dont like asking someone to repeat themselves 40 times during a conversation.
I am tired of companies selling Americans chep products manufacturered overseas, flooding the US market and driving our companies out of business. Then they sell your financing to capitol groups in India and China. You send your payments to fund growth in those areas while shooting yourself in the foot. And to ice the cake, they hire Indians for $2 a day to harrass you until you supply them with serious personal information. WAKE UP AMERICA You are selling your children down the river.- Caller: Nissan Credit

- SQ10/27/11:
Just received a call from this number. It left a voicemail message on my cell, but did not listen to it. I happened to check this site as it was coming in. Glad I did. Erased it all. Ignoring future calls like this.
I've already been scammed lately from another number (447 prefix.....12 digit number) Beware!!!!!!!- Caller: Unknown
- SQI've been getting the same number (1-800-777-6116) calling me every day since Thurs. 10/27/11. I let the first call go to voicemail, but did not listen to message, erased it. And since then, I erase calls right away if I get to them first.
I also do not own or am financing a Nissan brand car. I "own" outright an older Chevrolet. Not interested in buying another car either.
No doubt this is a scam.
FYI......beware.....there's also another internet dating scam happening again. This one is happening thru SeniorPeopleMeet, online dating site. It's another Nigerian scam.- Caller: Unknown

- Matt BienemanThis is some kind of a scam. A legitimate debt collector would not be repeatedly calling people with no debts. In fact, is is a violation of federal and state laws to do so.
- Call type: Debt collector
- Matt BienemanScam caller. They have now called 6 times. (We have no debts, and in any case, I swore a solemn oath 35 years ago that I would never buy a Datsun.)
