- Ari replies to MIKEMaybe you should learn the laws...it's illegal for a debt collector to leave any messages that indicate that they are trying to collect a debt. In some states it's illegal for debt collectors to leave ANY messages of ANY kind.
- jcaI was called by this John (no last name) he was yelling at me telling me That I should pay my debt at that precise moment, asking for a credit card number or checking account number. Forget it, that's information I dont give by phone to strangers. He also asked for my attorney's name and number. That guy is out of control!!! I've never felt so bad in my life, thank's to this guy.

- not too happy replies to Xiomara Morel| 5 repliesThey called my business line today, left a long voicemail saying the message is for a person I have never heard of, and that if I am not that person I need to hang up now (they were speaking to my vm, so how could I hang up now), then they go on to say by not hanging up, I am admitting that I am said person...........duh! I have never heard of this lady they are looking for, and I PAY MY BILLS! I called them to tell them to stop calling me with other peoples personal information, and the lady they connected me to was rude and hung up as if I did somthing wrong. I am reporting these people to the Massachusetts AG. Here is the link to the online form:
http://www.mass.gov/Cago/docs/Consumer/consumercomplaintform.pdf - johnny debtor replies to not too happy| 4 repliesI enjoy borrowing money and enjoy not paying it back. I am also a fan of eventually paying it back on my own terms several months, or even years after it was originally owed. I cant understand why these creditors expect me to pay them the money I owe. Don't they know how tough the economy is man, dude the banks got a bail out. where is mine?? I should just get free money because lazy skids like me certainly are not going to work hard, or get an education welfare and section 8 only pays enough for cigs, direct tv and some child support. after that Im cashed out until the 1st playa. So stop calling me or I will complain about it on the internet, because you are wastin my minuts yo.
- JD replies to Marc| 4 repliesOk, so this company, Associated Credit Services, just called and left a message on my cell stating the following: "If this is **** ********, we have an important message for you, and if it's not **** ********, then please hang up now. There will now be a 3-second pause. Now, we need you to call our office pertaining to the matter of (insert here) immediately." The caller proceeded to discuss my personal information over my voicemail. Ok, calling friends and relatives is not illegal, but leaving said messages is. Furthermore, I made my payment on-time, but my lender failed to document it, so I am not at fault here. If I get called by this company again, I will pursue my own legal action.
- JoanI have no idea who this is.
- WaltJust sue them. I did and they settled with me very quickly. Cha-ching!

- billy bill collector replies to johnny debtorI enjoy acting holier than thou and pretending I am not exactly like johnny debtor, when I really am johnny debtor's little cousin. I am also a fan of pretending I have a good job, despite the fact that the qualifications for said job are a mere understanding of basic telephone operation, a willingness to work for peanuts, and the ability to act like a jerk for 8 hours every day. I cant understand why these debtors don't just pay the money they owe, especially when they don't have it. Don't they know how I need the money to make a commission check man, dude I gots to get me a new play station game. where is mine?? Don't they know the world revolves around me? Don't they know how vital it is to the economy that they pay some rinky bill from years ago that no one but me actually cares about? Don't they know there is really nothing I or anyone else can do about it if they dont pay which is why I huff and puff so much? Debtors should just sell their kids or steal money and send it to me because uneducated skids like me certainly are not going to read a news paper and realize we are in an economic depression, or get an education and normal job, so we will have to continue to call so we can fund our pathetic lives, our meth addiction, and continue to live in the hood and convince ourselves we are captains of industry just because we wear a clip-on tie to sit in a cubicle in an office where we will never be allowed to actually deal with anyone ever face-to-face because we are basically idiots. If you don't pay me, Im cashed out until next month playa and my fat ugly baby-mama(s) will end up with my entire 500/week pay check to pay for my nine children. I will have nothing fo my meth, clip-on ties, and PS2 games yo. And I likes my clip-on ties so my peeps in the hood think Im some lawyer! So start calling me back or I will complain about it on the internet too, because I dont have the skills to get a real job yo.

- a collector (oh no ;) replies to Shay| 3 repliesHere's an idea 'Shay', Call back and tell us. That way you won't be getting calls and we won't be wasting our time calling the wrong #. Oh and fyi, here's what I hate:
1) If you call me and tell me to stop calling and hang up the phone, guess what?! I have no idea who 'you' are. You have to tell me what # I've been calling and politely tell me it's the wrong #. Then you're all set.
2) If you are a rude, swearing [***], I'll probably just leave you're # in the system for another round of calls. Wrong? Yah, but so is calling me up belittling me and throwing every swear you know at me.
3) Ask us to remove the #. Don't say you're on the 'do not call list'. This is collections, not telemarketing.
That's all for now. Sorry, just some gripes from a supposed 'evil debt collector'. - Angelsome one name Nancy call me from this number sayin I own money about a student loan, asking about mySS number, I will report the calls to police and see if they stop calling the wrong person.
- meatballs replies to JaredI know "bruce Campbell personally.. he is a jerk in real life! You should report him and the company to bbb.. they do things that aren't quite legal that are a fine white line! Please report him and the company by the way it's not in nh.. it's located in MA..
- LucyI keep getting calls on work number for Elizabeth Flores, who I am not and have told this company repeatedly. Nevermind that my voicemail clearly states who I am... and now I'm forced to take time out of busy day AGAIN to deal with this ridiculous company.

- Justice monitorEric Elliot, allegedly the son of a Mass. State Trooper, claims to be working for Associated Credit Services, Inc.
Giving out the phone number of 1-800-962-9898 Call trace revealed he was calling from phone number 508-435-7869, ext 325.
He insisted he was going to collect a debt he said I owed. I was in fact not even the correct person and told him I did not even know the company he said was owed a debt, and that I did not owe the debt, but that did not deter him. He appeared to be randomly calling phone numbers of people with the same or similar name to the debtor. I do not even live in the same part of the State as the alleged debtor, if any. He threatened that his father is a State Trooper and inferred the Trooper would protect him from arrest for fraud by electronic means. I hung up and reported the attempted to D.O.J. after tracing the suspect's phone number and verifying he was at that location.- Caller: none listed
