- bea replies to Justice Monitor| 2 repliesjust called TD bank, they only use NCO Financial
- SW"Tyler Cross" is his name
TD BANK.... calling for a measly $70 cuz I stopped payment on a check to a bad ebayer and they paid it anyway.... was told by TD it was their error.... but this scam compnay is still trying to collect. I asked them to prove the debt is mine. - The Bottom Consumer| 3 repliesThe grammer and spelling of the people on this site is hilarious. What also humors me so deeply is the overwhelming pride in stealing money from companies. I get calls for debt i owe and at no point am i proud of that. This site seems to be people bragging and sharing ways to evade their financial responsibility. You should all be ashamed of yourself. Have some shame about the money you cant or wont pay. Did it suddenly become cool to be in debt? It seems pretty apparent. If you are that overwhelmed with debt, apply for bankruptcy. If you have some objection to a bill, disputed it. If you simply dont care about your life, your finances, and your responsibilities, kill yourself and stop being a burden on the rest of us
- Unknown replies to The Bottom Consumer| 1 replyHey "The Bottom Consumer", you may want to run a spell check and gramm..A..r check on your own writings before you start putting people down. But thanks for the laugh!
- AC replies to bea| 1 replyWhen i called TD Bank, they referred me Associated Credit Services. No mention of NCO Financial.
- slick| 2 repliesi work for this company in the hopkinton office and there are alot of really nice people working there...are there trouble makers and people who are a pain in the butt? absolutely...but please people...do not avoid your financial responsibilities or have fun trying to open up a checking acount or buy a car in the next decade
goodnight all and good luck - jeff replies to slickI think you are missing the point of this website. as a result of a bad mortgage I am in $5000.00 of debt and am not proud of I called back ACS and told them I can start off paying 25.00 per month on an past due credit card The person told me I would have to put down $1,000 to get this which I told him I could not do but do intend to pay this I am an honest person.the reason I am adding this reply is I was verbally harassed, by this man he was very rude and tried to make me fell like I was a piece of [***]. these people here deliberately break the law and have no people skills or sympathy what so ever and I have read blogs here from former employees of this company on this site as well and it looks like this is a terrible company to work for as well.
- Wiser than Assoc Credit ServiceAssoc. Credit Service decided to call me from 1-800-960-9898. The indivisual started making false and very untrue statements, and when the person was asked questions to confirm who, what, where, and when he could not answer any of the questions but to reply that I needed to give him that information, and that I needed to pay my bills. Well to you Assoc Credit Service, the same way I ended the conversation with your representative, I will state here again. You are all liars, full of alot of BS in an attempt to defraud people. I owe nothing, I know I owe nothing and you all can kiss my butt, you need to pick your wars better. I suggest to all others that are getting these fictious calls from this company, file with your police department, notify the credit agency, and put a fraud alert out on your credit. These type of boiler room operation companies need to stop, they attempt to zone in on who appears to be weak and vonuerable. Do not fall victim to this company always be on the alert. When you call the company back and give them the number they called they give you another persons name, and then tell you well I can better help you if you give me your social security number and date of birth, tell them know then they ask for your full name and street address. They claim the only way they can help you is by getting that information from you. I informed well since you guys called me and I stated my name and my spouse name, I gave you the number you called and had an extended conversation you should be able to pull up the information. So when I refused, the gentle man got rude an very nasty and stated that since I did not want to give out my personal information SS and DOB, I was wasting his time. I said have a nice day.

- A debt collector| 5 repliesSO all the people who "blog" on here should really spend time searching for a job to pay their debts and we can stop calling! ACS is very strict about keeping up with all of the FDCPA law and regulations! For all of you complaining of violations, re-read the laws before you jump the gun and accuse this company of violating laws! Also, as a debtor, if you claim you do not owe a debt, it is YOUR responsibilty to provide proof and documentation that you do not owe. The banks hear all day long "I don't owe it!" There records show you do, which is why you are in collections, and 98% of the time, their records are correct and you mis-read yours! People have every excuse in the book not to pay their bills and avoid the issue at hand. As a debt collector, we have obligations to fulfill with our clients, we aren't out to get you! Another thing you all need to understand is, we get swore at and screamed at all day long.. we need to defend ourselves and be firm otherwise people will walk all over us! And lastly, for those of you saying that our job isn't anything to be proud of... it's more than those of you living off the government can say! If we didn't work, we wouldn't be paying taxes, and you would be receving NOTHING!People have ways to pay their bills, they simply choose not to, or to choose whatever it most convenient for them! =)

- Bossman replies to A debt collectorSTOP lying. people there all the time refuse to answer "what company are you calling from" all the time and call people more than twice a week and call them at work about 10 time a month which are FDCPA violations and a lot more so stop with the BS.these debtors may be broke but don't insult their intelligence. I would like to say thank you to Eric Alliette for everything he was was a hard worker, very good to work for and work with and very much a stand up guy I can not say enough good things about him we all miss you.they got rid of him for a stupid reason just because they did not want to pay him.and to all current employees keep in mind after 4-5 years ACS gets rid of most people so they can get new blood in there for 12.50 per hour.my friend in the other office told me last summer they got rid of 5 seasoned veterans for no good reason except they did not want to pay them big bucks anymore 4 of them had been there 4+ years. no one is irreplaceable there and Eric had been there 4+ years. Valentine and Kebartas is hiring right now if anyone is interested. go to FDCPA.com to see the laws and U will see all the laws ACS breaks
- Kris replies to ASFDSNOT TRUE!!! I called and spoke to a supervisor over a call that was made to my house one evening and they were rude to my babysitter. The call is recorded because our answering machine picked up as she was answering the phone. She repeatedly said "i'm sorry sir you have the wrong number, this is the ****** Residence. I dont know who the person is you're looking for." She even offered to give the man our cell phone number so they could call and discuss the matter with us because we wouldnt be home before they closed for the night. He repeatedly asked her why she was hiding so and so and why wouldnt she make him come to the phone, telling her that she answered that made her responsible for that person's debt too so if she didnt want to get in trouble for it, she needed to get the person in debt on the phone. TOTALLY INAPPROPRIATE. She was NEVER rude to him and he was down right nasty to her so i dont want to hear that if you're nice and dont get mouthy or hang up that they're always nice and treat everyone with respect. That's a load of crap!
- lkjdsf replies to UnknownALSO. Bottom consumer..... how DARE you tell someone else to go kill themselves? Even if it's "just self expression", it's way out of line. Also, to judge someone else because they may not be able to pay their bills is wrong. You haven't walked in their shoes. You don't know their situation, so you have no right to pass judgement. And before you pass judgement on me, know that if you read my credit report and/or bill statements, you would see that i pay my bills and debts. I still dont see it as right or fair of you to pass judgement on people you dont know.

- lamet replies to slickTHIS IS NOT ABOUT VALID - THIS IS JUNK DEBT COLLECTOR
They only try to collect on TIME-BARRED debts, discharged in Bankruptcy, identity theft or ALREADY PAID..
this is about ILLEGAL DEBT COLLECTION tactics and A COLLECTION AGENCY that violates State and Federal FDCPA laws AS A MATTER OF POLICY.
Its about collectors who refuse payment plans because it IMPACTS THEIR COMMISSION CHECKS! - CherylThey called me for a family member who does not live at my address... the call came in from a private number instead of an 800 number but he had me write down his name and (800) number so my family member could call back... real tricky. I wrote down the info so I could check them out and got this website. I don't trust this guy... no need to call back.

- justmeThis number called my parents (who live in a different state and I have not lived there for OVER 20 years) left a message to call 'bob lake' at extension 256 but there was no company name left. My folks have even received mail from another collection agency at their address, which again I have not lived at for over 20 years and have never used for any purpose. Until they send something to my correct address that can be disputed to me these calls are nothing but harassement.

- Gerald BatemanEveryone quick go to change.org, click view topics at the top, then click poverty in America. On the right you will see this petition: We demand an immediate passage of Bill H.R. 4213 Extension Of Unemployment Benefits. Sign it and unite together if it gets enough signatures President Obama will sign executive order! Tell everyone you know. We have to unite together to survive!
- UnemployedIt won't do any good. The petition is sent to an invalid e-mail address belonging to Ben Nelson. Change.org. needs to update their information.
- meDear collectors at ACS
Now that the senate voted to extend unemployment I can now pay my bill there which is around $975. thank to 58 democrats who voted for this is good news for your company beacuse a lot of people there can now pay their bills. all the republicans except for 2 voted against it which would make this recession even worse more foreclosures, higher crime ect..never vote for a republican they only care about the rich and big businesses. not the middle class or poor. they have an aggenda make the econonmy even worse so it reflects Obama so he wil get voted out. I am starting a job in September and next week when I get my 1st unemp check since may I will be calling back to pay this bill in full
