Two of these so far, but I got a call with a very similar voice a few weeks ago berating me for not picking up or calling back, saying, "this is ridiculous."

I ace received several calls from  855-396-2263 with pretty much the same speech -  The strangest thong is this "guy?" started with one number, started again and gave this number.

It is obviously a scam.

While they have a "professional" website, it doesn't appear to be a professional or ethical company.

if i was familiar with skip tracing-she was inquiring about a deceased parent-would not mail me any information for me to forward-would not give me an email address for herself or the company-message that was left on my unlisted cell phone was from Thomas King &Associates and they answered this number with the  same name
I  repeated to her that she could mail info or give me email-she told me i was not going to tell her how to do her job and that she was disconnecting the call I repeated again that was the only way I could have  my lawyer and estate handler correspond to/with them-she disconnected....... -number tracks to California midway

This number has called me several times in the past few weeks.  Numerous times.  I usually ignore it but last week my brother who lives on the other side of the country told me that some guy called him asking about me and asked for my phone number. My brother isn't the brightest... he gave them my number. When i asked him what number called he quoted this phone number. At this time I had already been called half a dozen times by them. Well this morning the number called and for some reason I figured I would pick up. I say hello. The intimidating sounding guy on the other end says my name.  I say no, but who is this. He says, "I know this is (my name)! We have done an investigation and have your number and address."
To me that was pretty damn threatening. Also I've called the number and it goes to a generic sounding voicemail saying extension 223 is not available.  Then it beeps. Why would anyone think I'm going to talk to them when they're yelling at me like that and not identifying themselves or what company they're calling from.

A news brief was recently sent out in my state about scam calls that have been going around.  They described two that had been reported but this wasn't one of them.  In the article, it explained how these scam companies have figured out a way to scam the caller-id and change the number that shows up when they call us.  For example: if they are actually calling from "123" they will change the caller-id to read "456" - so when someone calls back, they aren't being traced and caught.  They may end up calling a legit company that had no idea their phone number was being used in a scam.  Has anyone called back to this "Thomas King & Associates" and spoken to anyone?  That is the number that comes up on my caller-id when this guy keeps calling.

call from 8553962263 asking for my ex-spouse. divorced for over 20 years. sounds like bill collector and shouldn't be calling me after all these years.

I did not answer the call but they left me a message and in the message she said her name was mrs jones and she was calling in reguards to a complaint against my mother. My mother has no such "complaints". And then says that she "advises that I or my mother call her back" and she gives this number with an extension number and account number. Between each sentence she takes long pauses, as if she doesn't know what to say. Not calling back, this is a scam and needs to be taken to the authorities! This was a call to my cell phone in South Carolina.

I received a call from this number today 6/26/2014 left the same message on my cell !!

Three of us in my family have been experiencing the same as others have reported here. They say it is regarding my son. We have had a local call, the 855 call, and same non-threatening female call (giving this number and account reference number). My son called to inquire what this was regarding.  They wanted to know his social, address, etc. They refused to tell him what it was about without his giving the requested information. He refused to divulge any 't information. He told them to send him a letter in the mail and he ended the call. We are still getting calls. About two weeks after this call, we also started getting calls from the Fraud dept. of the IRS.  Left a 202 number but the caller ID referred to a number from the IRS. They had the last four digits of my husband's social security number. It was also listed on this website and looks like a definite scam. We called our local sheriff who took a report and recorded the messages being left from both of these incidents. I am going to call my telephone carrier to see if I can block the numbers.

been getting calls from them using a local number. scam. I block my number and called back. The lady that answer the phone refused to give me any information beside Thomas and associates and tries to get my personal information. She them became very angry at me for request information from her and started using curse words. scram.

i call black several times. the person i spoke to was rude and continue to try to get info on my name, phone number, and more. She did not provide any info and begin to get angry when i did not give her my information. the number that call  me was 5303644524. I called this number and the number 8553962253. they both got to the same person.

I received three calls between 6.24.2014 and 6.26.2014 from a local (PA) number stating to call regarding an asset & liability search.  When I returned the call a gentle answered stated Thomas King & Assoc.  When he was unable to pull up my number, I blocked it, he became angry stating he wasn't going to play my games.  I asked him what type of business Thomas King & Assoc. was.  He hung up.  Tried to call back several times only to receive voice mail.  No message left.  I feel certain it is a scam.

Just had a message to call this number. I've been receiving numerous calls from a local number for the past week and this is the first time the left a message. The only parts that were recorded were after '...your claim.' Then 'If you accept this message as your official notification, press '1' now, or call...' Something's a little fishy; sounds (from everyone else above) like it could very well be a scam...

I called it back it is a debt collector.

They called my mother and told.her not to call them. They try to intimidate you but dont fall for it. They ty to obtain your social. Please do not fall for it. I looked it.  Up. They should shut these jerks down.

I been getting servals scam calls from them now. After a while this switch the number n which they are calling from, but it's the same message. What I want to know is how do we stop them and report them. How can we get these scammer in jail where they belong ?

I agreed. How can we shut them down?

Call them back and give them your local police number.
