Just called 3 times within 4 minutes.  Dont know who they are.  Dont owe any debts!  Some one needs to due something about this.  Does no good to turn these calls in.  Where is the true government now to help us?  OH YA.  To busy helping other countries that we should not be.

So what did you tell them.  I also got that same call and they said it crossed reference some of my information but alot of it was wrong. They t old me i could take it to court and win but right now it was my ssn that =was attached  and there would still be a warrant for me.  My gosh the lady was nice though but she just wanted me to verify my information and I told her no you tell me what you have  and I will tell you yes or no.  most of it was no.  See this is what happens, yo apply for a loan and all of a sudden what ever program they are using attaches some of our info to theirs so they are really pulling on strings hoping they have the right person. But my address on their never heard of it nor my bank account number. either way we are screwed i would say pay it and just keep that it will never come up again. What s weird though is that my debt has been paid and i am just afraid of them coming to my empoyer and then losing my job.

Much of your post does not make sense.  The lady was nice, yet she was trying to scam your personal information from you?  She was nice, but she was threatening arrest, which is against the law.  Your advice is to pay money on a debt someone doesn't owe, and has not been validated, to a caller that violates the FDCPA?  That sounds like a shill comment to me!

It is a SHILL comment. The post looks like it was done by computer translation software. Difficult to read. I think Suzy is Shill-y.

Suzy --- what are you trying to say?  That you are a shill who works for this gang of crooks.  I appears that not only is English not your native tongue, you are not very smart.  However, your post seems to reveal some interesting information about how you and your friends operate "pulling at strings".  Now, back to the boiler room for you

Those little [***] are on here trying to distract everyone from the truth.  I'm going to be calling attorney after attorney after attorney until I find someone that will lay down $100 to hire a private investigator to find these guys out, get an injunction to get their phones shut down and a judgment requiring them to pay me $1,000+ and his fees as well.  Those lil fkrs WILL regret it.  And, just in case I cannot accomplish the above somehow, I'm a law student with over $50,000 in judgments (paid) so far...

I'll tell you for free. Put the $100. back in your pocket. You are being called from foreign extortionists in Asia, using high speed internet, computers, voip, and caller ID spoofing, trying to collect on fake loans. Only problem is they are out of the reach of US Law.

For at least the last year, an illegal group of debt collectors have been terrorizing consumers, their family, friends, and employees threatening to arrest the individual of an unpaid loan or other debt (their generally don't even owe). Be aware debt is a civil matter, not a criminal matter, and you can't be arrested. They threaten a warrant if the victim does not pay a sum of money by the credit card over the phone.

Even if you do owe a debt, do not be deceived by the actions of this group.  Many of the accounts they are attempting to collect they do not own.  In other words, if you pay these people, that is not going to clear your debt with its rightful owner.

Although when pressed the callers give the victim an address in Columbia South Carolina (usually a vacant lot) or Atlanta GA (often a parking lot near the bus station). They are actually out of the Charlotte North Carolina area. The scammers are using the following business names

    Reynolds, Hill, and Associates
    Berkley and Associates
    Kaufmann and Associates
    Sanderson Blaine & Associates
    McKenzie Reid Associates
    Kennedy, Kline, & Associates
    Nationwide Asset and Recovery
    Piedmont Investigations and Procurement

Here is a set of links to a variety of threads on this forum that document this group and its behavior. They include the experiences of victims as well as a former employee or two that quit within a week of finding out exactly what was going on. They also include responses from consumer advocates and people who are really criminal justice professionals advising victims of what to do
