- peed-off replies to KIMummm, are you really trying to stick up for this obviously bunk company?
You just look like an idiot. Learn to spell before you try to argue your so-called "companies" virtues.
I think this just shows that either the people who are fronting for this scam company are morons, or the people they have working for them are morons. Either way, I think it is safe to stay very far away from these awful people. - Hotel replies to KIMMaybe you should learn to spell in English before you try to represent a company in English!!
- The Real C.M N.B replies to rickNo not Dumb telling the truth!! So who's side are you on?
- The Real C.M N.B replies to C.M N.B| 1 replyStop writing things using my user name this is not true I have never been on stress meds you really need to get a life and stop trying to scam people why don't you move out of your mom's basement and get a real job!
- The Real C.M N.B replies to ben| 1 replyVery Professional!
- redrock replies to RadiomanI received a call like that also, asking how our photocopier is running sounding like they are from the company we deal with and start sending cartridges and faxing invoices.
- redrock replies to Laser Recycling PlusStop misrepresenting yourselves with bogus calls asking for photocopier type, checking on if the company's photocopier is working, trying to sound like the person who services the photocopier. You are taking advantage of the busy working employee. You are a scam, if you were legitamate you would identify your self as a small company and ask if they would like your business, do what an honest sales person would do. Total SCAM.
- SCAM_VictimDoes anyone know how we can take action against Laser Recycling Network? Or have they been caught by the Fed Govt and if there is class lawsuit against them? I am very very embarass to say this, but our company has been paying these guys over a YEAR now. I don't even want to tell you the TOTAL amount!! it's 5 digits. We have been trying to call them and the lady that answer said she will get someone to call us back. But they never did. We told her that we neve order these toners. She said ok we will only send when you guys ordered them. First of all, we NEVER ordered them. I looked at the invoices and the packing slip, they don't make sense at all. The invoices do not have order numbe. You can never track what toners the invoices are for!! ON top of this, the toners that they sent DO NOT fit our printer/fax!!! I just cannot believe they got away for so long. The person at our accounting dept who created this account is no longer here. So we don't really know how their account got created at first place!! I am sure someone should be on to these guys by now!! this is such a terrible criminal act!! i hope they will get punished for this!!

- SCAM_Victim| 2 repliesThese guys are good. Looked up their address, 1104 Rue Moffat, Montreal (Verdun to be exact), QC, H4H 1Y9. It is a townhouse - probably using someone else. Talked to several people at work today and we probably won't get anything back. What they are doing is LEGAL, but UNethica. We probably could not get another back because our receptionists have signed for those toners. They can argue that this legal exchange for goods and services. They probably think this through carefully before they started this SCAM! They even have a phone system set up to make it look like the company is legit!. I wonder if we can fight them on technicality as the contact name and fax model on our paid invoices are wrong. It is just sad to see that someone out there can be so clever and evil!!
- Jessica replies to SCAM_Victim| 1 replyNo, what they are doing is NOT legal. They sent you something that you did not order and signing for it does not mean you have to accept it. They tricked you into receiving the product Not trying to be mean here but you are niave if you think this is a legitimate way to do business. You are not alone by any means though, In reading these posts I see that a lot of people don't know what their rights as consumers are and that's just what these scam artists are hopping for. Makes me sad though so,
This is for everyone who received toner they did not order and don't know what to do.
First of all you do not have to pay a penny to return something you did not order (actually by law you don't even have to return it, you can consider it a gift) You think these people can sue you for non payment without a signed purchase order from you? Nope, not a chance. Goggle " toner ink scams" you'll see that this has been going on for years Call phone busters,or even crime stoppers and they will give you some very good information. It takes two to make any scam work so refuse to be a victim. - SCAM_VICTIM replies to JessicaThanks for the input. We are definitely NOT going to pay these guys anymore. I wish they will have the nerve to call us to try to get us pay - so that I will give them my answer. I am trying to get back the money that we've lost. But the people at work seem to think that since we have signed for the delivery and paid the invoices under their conditions (in the voice: All mechandised accepted upon delivery are subject to these conditions. No products can be returned without prior authorization. There are no cash refunds. All orders returned to supplier without prior approval are subject to resocking charges). See they seem to have that part covered. But you are RIGHT to point out that we NEVER ordered these toners in first place. I am trying to call them to see who they have talked to at first place. But of course, we will NEVER hear back from them. I remember someone posting on here and other sites that the RCMP is looking for this guy. He lives with his mom and his number was posted. I wonder what is the progress of that. Anyone has any idea? This guy should pay back the money and be punished for this.!!!
- SCAM_VictimTo my surprise, a guy name Daniel called me back today!! I was so furious at these guys!! I began to ask so many questions: WHO order the toners!! Do they have contract to send us toners/invoice every 2 months? Where are the proof of order!! He said he cannot provide them. He told me the name of the person that does not even work there. He said "well, it is not my fault that we did not get informed that the person no longer works there" ....then he told me that we have been doing business with them over a year now. There is no complaints til now? (Well, there was no friggin complain because we never had to change our toners for the fax and we still use our old toners for our other printer!!). When we tried their toners, they don't fit. he read me the WRONG fax model on the invoice. He said that's the model number that was given to him. he said he talked to our account payable person for the past two month. He got her first name right, but when I asked him what is her last name, he said " well you work there, you should know..". I told him that they are a SCAM and I hope the RCMP will find them soon. he said " well we are just working hard trying to earn extra money" (what was his exact quote). I hope they will put these people in JAIL soon. They don't have any moral or conscience. I wonder how can they sleep at night time. I told him I hope you are enjoying your money!! i hope somehow the police can trace the line and locate these evil people!!

- SCAM_Victim| 1 replyI should mention that to you tell your new employees about these guys. We change receptionists and account payable a lot here. Looking back at the invoices, I see that they stopped invoicing us for about six months last year. Someone must have called them to complain. Then they started sending them again. They probablay called and talked to our new receptionist!. So be careful! Alert your shipping/receiving team, receptionists, accounting NOT to take package/invoices from Laser Recycling Network!! These guys have been getting away since 2008. They are making lots of making with this SCAM. I hope they will get punished for it!!

- Jessica replies to SCAM_VictimI like your idea of telling new people at work abut this scam, every company should do that. When we received toner we didn't order I did call Phone Busters (at the suggestion of some people on this site) the lady there told me that they had received numerous complaints and these people would probably try to get payment by making fake "collection" calls but all they have is their invoice and without a SIGNED puchase order or agreement from you that you ordered it there is nothing they can do. I sent a letter teling them to never contact our company again or we would take legal action then I sent the box back "Return postage to be paid by Laser Recycling Network" and I never heard from them again. That was over a year ago, makes me mad though that they are still scamming decent working people and I wonder also how they sleep at night.
- KristenThey called us several weeks ago and said we get a free cartridge for our printer. The printer was purchased before I started working at the company so I did not know what the contract for the printer was. We received one cartridge in the mail and several days later an invoice for $467.79. I called the company and was told that they never give anything away for free and I was made aware during the sales call that I would be invoiced and they said they even called the next day to verify the order and to tell me the invoice would follow in the mail. They had called back the next day but it was only to verify my address. I asked why the invoice was so high since I can buy this cartridge for around $100; he said that is the price for 4 and my other 3 must be on back order. I advised them I am returning the one I received and will not be paying the invoice.

- BC business replies to Laser Recycling PlusSame has just happened to our company. Luckily we caught it. The contact on their invoice is an employee who would never in a million years order products, that is not her job. They some how confirmed something with her that made the action happen. We only use staples, beware offices, as well the product they sent us was priced more than $400 over the cost of toner at Staples....some nerve...hope you go down Laser Recycling Plus
- BC Business replies to wrong person to scam| 1 replyJust also wondering what areas are these scammers hitting? BC Anyone? Fraser Valley?
- SCAM_Victim replies to wrong person to scamWrong person to scam: who do you talk to? Is his name Daniel? we have been scammed by the company call Laser Recycling Network (not Plus). I wonder if they are the same. Their phone number is 866-303-8803. Yeah, to my surprise, this Daniel character called me back. I asked for documentations of the order, but he said he does not have it. I asked who order it, he told me the name of a person that NEVER ever worked here. The thing that gets me is that these guys have been doing this since 2008 and is not being caught yet!! they are so clever and evil. they must be located somewhere in US or some island! I wonder why the RCMP does not try to trace their calls? They must taken lots of money from other people. I hope they rot in hell!!
