- AceHi everyone, check out this link, it's about office suppliy scams. The tactics sound quite familiar lol
what surprises me though is that it has been going on for years in one form or another.
They just hope that their invoice gets mixed in with all the other payables so make sure your accounting department questions every office supply invoice that they get.

- steff| 13 replieswhy is everyone here saying we send the toner without athorization, we ask to speek to the person responsible for the machine.who are we to say,u are not responsible for it if u say u are. We dont just call to get the make and modle, and then send the toner. We do have a sales pitch. We then let the client know that the shipment of toner will be arriving in 1 or 2 weeks. Not only that,,,we call the next day and re-comfirm the shipment with the same person. If the person we speek with is not responsible for ordering,,,transfer me to someone who is....I think there are a lot of employees trying to cover there traks when the boss asks why they ordered the toner. So dont blame all this on us
- Been_SCAMMED replies to steff| 2 repliesSteff: Holy moly...you have the nerve to come on here the try to post that you are legit? First, I am IN CHARGE of the printers/fax at my work!! No one from Laser Recycling Network ever called me before we received these toners and invoices!! The name on the most invoices are WRONG!!! No one by that name ever work here!! Then I saw one invoice with our RECEPTIONIST name on it!!! Therefore, you guys were just calling to her to find out about our make and model!!! I ask her if she ever received a call a day or two from you guys and she said NO!! Your invoice does not even include FAX or EMAIL contact!! It just includes your name and fake addresses and the phone number!! What kind of sales pitch are you making? buy one for half price now, then you will get invoice for twice as much later. What kind of recycled toner would cost $400 ??? we can get the real toner for half that price!! I hope the police will find you soon. And if I ever find out who you really are and where you live, you may want to hide!!!
- Jessica replies to steff| 2 repliesThe only call we received was one asking us what kind of fax machine we have, no one asked if we wanted toner and no one disccused prices. If you want to be know as a legitimate company then you should learn how to operate like one and know that without getting SIGNED authorization, any kind of written proof that they ordered the toner and agreed to pay the price quoted, your customer can keep it, they don't have to send it back and there is nothing (legally) that you can do to make them pay you! The reason that you can continue with this scam is unfortunatly, some people do not seem to understand that.
- Peter replies to Jessica| 1 replyWe are a BC-based First Nation and I just discovered this scam while reviewing several invoices that were just about to be paid from Laser Recycling Plus for almost $1500. This amount was for a total of three printer cartridges, which after doing a quick online search I discovered I could purchase at Staples or online through Amazon for about $50 in total. I couldn't believe it! I figure they got our fax machine details from someone at reception and I can find no evidence of ever having placing an order. It's a shame that this 'company' is taking advantage of so many people.
- Jessica replies to PeterWow it's great that you caught that. Imagine what actual useful items you can buy with $1500. Too bad more companies don't have someone like you watchng their invoices. It is a shame that people have to resort to fraud in order to make money.
- DragonWe are based in BC. We got the same experience like the rest of you. Person by the name of David claimed he was calling from Konica Minolta. Send us a toner 2 weeks later followed by an invoice for about CAD470.00. Called and emailed both the Anti Fraud Centre and Competition Bureau to file a formal complaint against Laser Recycling Plus. We are sending their toner with their copy of invoice back to their address listed on their invoice through Canada Post on C.O.D. service. You think you can scam us. Sorry, unfortunately NO, loosers! Don't waste your time calling these loosers to give them a piece of your mind. They couldn't be bothered. Just return their crap to them on C.O.D service.

- Been_SCAMMEDWhen you guys send back the toners, do they ever come back? I am wondering if the address that they use even exist. If it exists, can the RCMP pay them a visit? With all these reports to BBB and Anti Fraud Centre, you would think the police would investigate into this further. . Next time when someone fill out the complain, they should make a suggestion to visit the address. Obviously, these guys are still alive and kicking in terms of scamming people. If I ever get my hands on one of them, they won't be able to pick up a phone for months...
