Our company just got an order that nobody remembers ordering. Call laser recycling and they claim that certain individual authorized it and ordered it.  That same individual says they did not authorize it.  This is the second scam company in a week.  Do NOT deal with them or say anything. Just hang up!  Its a pain to take time in the work day to deal with this.

The post by Laser Recycling is false. They are not victims merely making victims out of everyone else.

    SCAM!!!

I hope you rot in hell!!!

We had Brad call a couple of months ago asking to confirm our address so they could  send us our ink cartridge that we had ordered (which we never had). He talked to one of my receptionists and she came and told me that the cartridges would be here in 1 to 2 weeks. I had never heard of the company so we google the company and saw all of these posts I also called them to tell them if i received a cartridge from them i would call the BBB and the RCMP and i was hung up on and Brad never did return my calls!!! I find it  very unprofessional for a company to reply to these posts if you were a legitimate company that wasn't scamming people you would ignore them or hire a lawyer to do something about the slander on here if it isn't true!!!!! We did receive a package today after all and didn't except it thank goodness.  These toners must be made of gold or something to be worth that much! The sign on the front desk of my office will remain there as long as needed to not accept any packages without checking what it is first!!!! We will shut you down eventually!

Too bad I didn't Google the company 2 hours ago before I nonchalantly confirmed our address with the caller.  I should have known better. Ron called last week to inform me that they would be sending out our fax cartridge as per our contract.  Seemed fishy to me, but "Ron" was so confident and had our information and model number so I assumed he knew what he was talking about.  I also figured that since I hadn't given him any credit card info that there was no harm.  What a dummy I am. Anyways, thanks to the info on here, we will be sure not to accept the package if it arrives.  Hopefully it won't arrive as I called the 1-866 number listed on here to cancel the shipment. Isn't it a little ridiculous that they are able to keep this up 3 years after the first post was put up on here!!!

I too spoke to a "Ron" and he sounded so confident that I really thought he was just our regular service guy calling to check in the copiers ect - I guess i should have clued in when he asked for our model number for the fax machine. Anyhow, I got a call back from Matt to confirm our "order". I told him we did NOT order anything so I googled laser recycling plus and low and behold I come across these postings. These jerks are good! had me fooled...
anyways, i called the 1-866 number listed and spoke to a lady (believe the same one) both yesterday AND today just to re-confirm that they will NOT be sending our company anything as we did not order...so apparently we aren't getting the shipement and it has been cancelled. guess we will have to see!! if anything DOES come ..i will be refusing it also! let me know if anything happens on yoru end. I also informed them to take us off their calling list. These people are ruthless!!

They are still at it.  They did the same to one of my staff and it arrived with a 440.00 price tag.  I called them and was told that someone would call me back...surprise surprise.  No call and now I cant get through lol.
My staff accepted the package but I won't use the toner; it is generic and does not look even safe to use.
These people will not go through the trouble to try to take someone to collections so even if your staff end up accepting it, don't worry.  Just try to call them to cancel and write everything down so you have done your due dilligence.  After that, keep the toner for 30 days and toss it.  Do not send them money and because this company is not legetimate there will be no consequences.
Although, in this day and age it seems these companies are more protected than legitimate ones so; who knows.

Wow. You are on the top of the list of being an idiot.  You guys are seriously the lowest scum on earth and its funny that you put more work into scams than most people do in a legitimate business.  Do you like people hating you?  Do you like the fact that if you were in actual real trouble like a car accident (and I knew it was you) that I can honestly say that I would walk away without helping?
Anyway, your an idiot.  If you'd like to meet me in person please let me know as I can absolutely arrange that for you.  :)  Please come meet me!

I got a phonecall from Michael Fleming from Laser Recycling Plus (although the caller ID showed 'unknown'). As soon as I picked up the phone he started rambling about an invoice we hadn't paid and gave me an invoice number. I stopped him and said he should better talk to our accounts payable person who was not in the office at that time. He said he would call back but before he hung up I asked him a few questions about this toner ordering since I am the only person who orders supplies in our office. He claimed to have sent two toners for our Canon printer (the info he gave me was accurate), however toners are included in our contract therefore we have never paid for them separately or ordered them through an external supplier. This sounded a bit fishy, because I did ordered these toners through our account rep from Ikon and we received them. Michael said he had spoken to me (he knew my name) and that I had ordered the toners from him, which wasn't true. I asked him where did he send those toners and he gave me our old address (our company has moved twice and we haven't been at that address for over 4 years!). Laser Recycling Plus are in Quebec and our office is in Vancouver so it doesn't make sense. I asked him to fax a copy of the invoice he's claiming so we can review further. He gave me a number to call him back (1-877-465-8032). I called that number later and they answered as 'Laser Recycling Plus'. I'm glad I found this website, now I know this is probably a BIG SCAM, although it is very strange that they have so much information accurate.

    Ms. Scammed
Our company got a call from Laser Recycling Plus asking to confirm some of our printer models. I asked them about their recycling program and they happily gave us some info about how it worked with them. Some time later, we received an invoice for $399 for toner. I accidentally approved this as it looked legit. We then received a toner for a printer that we don't even have. I called the number on it and left a message. Someone called me back, claiming that I had agreed to service plan of a number of toners per year. When I stated that I had done no such thing, he asked rhetorically why they had model numbers for our printers. I said that that was because I had likely given it to them, whereupon the rep replied, why would you give out printer models if you weren't going to make a purchase. Switching onto another track, I asked if the toner could be returned but the rep told me that because it had been bought on special discount the money could not be refunded. I was left fuming that I had lost my cool and that we had been scammed. Please be careful!!

We just got a second call from Laser Recycling Plus.  One of our staff accidentally gave them information regarding our fax machine the first time they called.  He mentioned to someone else in the office who already knew about the same.  When we received this call, he put the guy on hold and the call was given to me.  He basically told me that our employee ordered toner and needed to pay.  He had the gall to yell at me.  Which I yelled back that that individual does not order toner and he was a scam artist and to go to hell.  I have instructed my staff that any packages coming in must be verified first.  We will reject any shipments coming from them.  After looking into the legal side of things on this I found out the following - we did not order the product, we do not have to pay.  Does not matter if they send it to us.  They can send someone to pick it up if they want their crappy product back but we do not have to pay or send them the shipment back.  A few years back another toner company sent us a toner bill which we did not pay because we did not order the toner.  They are hoping larger companies will just pay the bill and not look into things.  Fortunately, our company is small enough to know better.  PLEASE NOTE - NEVER PAY THESE PEOPLE - EVEN IF YOU RECEIVE THE PRODUCT!!

Seeing as how this scam has been going for 20 years I can't believe that you are still getting away with it. I do see, though, that apparently you don't need much of an education to work for this company - your spelling is a dead giveaway. Maybe you should use some of that money to go back to school and learn something of value.

Do not pay the bill.  If you did not order it then do not pay it.  If you do they will keep harassing you and sending products.  Plus they will pass along your information to other scam artists.

I got a second call today from the same guy. This time he called from phone number 604-678-9476. I asked him again to fax us the supposed invoice and this time we received. It looks fake, our company address is wrong and there is no much detail about the items 'supposedly' ordered.

I looked up the number on the caller ID and they're using it for other prank calls as well, claiming they're from Telus.

I have contacted our photocopier account rep and they have opened a file to follow up this scam.

TOTAL SCAM!!!!  I was charged 467.79 for a $75 toner.  They call and ask to quote you so you give them your name with a make/model of printer....and you get a toner...and a few weeks later a HUGE bill.  They WILL NOT be paid.  The toner remains in the box uner my desk, they are welcome to pick it up at anytime (at their cost), until then, it can continue to sit here.
I did call them and after a few weeks got a call back from a complete ASS who was talking over and yelling at me.  If this was a real company and not a scam they guy would never have spoken to me the way he did.

Wow, unbelievable! I've been dealing with this moron Michael Flemming for several days now. After spending almost 15min on the phone explaining (or I should say yelling) why we were not going to pay for a product we never ordered and that we haven't been at the address they supposedly sent the toners to for over 4 years, he ended up saying he was sorry for the confusion and he was not going to bother us again. A day later (ONE DAY) the same freaking guy calls as if it was the first time, saying he's following up on the payment of their invoice. I told them I had just spoken to him the day before and he didn't even remember!! If they were a legit serious company they would have their records straight but they're not, they're a BIG BIG BIG SCAM (no matter what some people on this forum say), YES, LASER RECYCLING PLUS, YOU ARE A SCAM!!
I will be contacting the RCMP and Canada's Phone Busters to report these idiots.
By the way, I have been taking note of the phone numbers they call from every time, and every time it has been from a different (not valid or out of service) number, including a skype number.

I received the identical phone and a couple weeks later received what I thought was some sort of servicing kit....someone was apparently coming out to service our printer/fax...low and behold I received an invoice a week later for $467.00 which I will not be paying.  I suggest that no one pay any of these invoices

Could you imagine how better off our world would be if these scammers used their time and energy for good?
