Their "alternative" methods are breaking Federal laws.  How in the world can you trust a company to treat you fairly, when they are breaking so many laws in the first place?  If they break the laws to get your business, who says they won't break them after they have your business?  

I have done extensive research into the laws of the FCC and the FTC in regards to 501c3 status companies and how they must conduct themselves while telemarketing.  I can honestly say they are breaking at least 5 laws set forth by the Federal Government.  That doesn't include all of the Terms of Service rules they are breaking by combing online classified ads websites to gain your phone number.  At the bottom of every Craigslist ad, it clearly states the the poster DOES NOT want to be contacted by commercial services!  Not only are they going against peoples requests, they are breaking laws at the same time.

Paul, your shilling is so lame. You violate Craigslist TOS. Why should people believe you will be honest with them if you use unscrupulous and possibly illegal methods (website farming and autodialers) to find and contact people?

I posted my car on autotrader on got a call from Brad  from Longwood Inc. saying that he called multiple times but I didn't answer so now he is going to go ahead and leave a message (he hadn't at all. This was his first call. I have call display) He said that he could sell my car for a small fee, he has buyers and he will back that with a guarantee and it was risk free to me. I didn't return his call. He called again a few days later with another message. He left his number. 866-326-0949

I started getting this call once I put an add in the AUTO TRADER. I've been absolutely fine in Craigslist except for a couple of emails wanting me to buy into their "home business that'll get you rich". I strongly feel that this was due to auto trader not craigslist.

Yes, glad I checked on line forlongwood. inc.  Yup it was Brad.  I just listed a Z4 last weekend !  He wouldn't have gotten a cc from me..

I paid to list my car on Autotrader.com and am getting the same message from "Brad" as noted by other readers.  Also received calls from these numbers in Las Vegas, NV.  702-891-0267 and 702-597-9402 offering to help sell my car - for a fee of course.

I keep getting calls from Robert at Longwood Inc.I  don't know how a Company from Virginia can sell a car in Canada. His price is now $99. Must be the difference in the dollar! The # he said to call was 1-866-326-0949.Nice try but thanks to you people i will not be calling him back

I am glad I looked this up, I got a call from "Brad" from 866-326-0949 stating that he will sell my car for a "small fee". Thanks to everybody that have posted.

how do u know its a scam ive heard of these companys working. he called me to and so did an guy from ebay motors? does anyone know if any comapanies like this are actually real?

Brad called and finally left a message.  Said he'd been trying to reach me for a couple days now and decided to just leave a voice message.  He is with Longwood, Inc. He saw my ad on AutoTrader.com and offered to help sell my car for a fee and he can back the sale with a guarantee.  Told me to call back at 866-326-0949.  I don't normally answer toll free numbers or other unfamiliar numbers.  I noticed another person in these blogs said they did a reverse lookup on a number that came from Las Vegas NV starting with 702 area code.  Over the last 3 days I've received various toll free calls and one 702-990-7883 that I've never answered.  Based on what I am reading here, I will not call him back and will be cautious going forward.  Thanks!

"brad" and his small fee from Longwood Inc got my number likely from autotrader, kijiji and /or usedwinnipeg.com for my Toyota Echo ad. Never called back..though he apparently had been trying to get hold of me for a while too. Bozo.

Never fear, folks the FTC is on our side!  They just passed a new law that will go into effect September 1st outlawing "robocalls"!  Telemarketers will NO LONGER be able to use them to contact consumers. Here is the link so you can see what I'm talking about, and with information on how to report companies that don't follow this rule after Sept. 1st.

I got two messages from Brad over the last week.  I never did respond because it sounded fishy and after reading all the comments especially that he wants your credit card number before you even get to see the contract  confirms my suspicion that this is truly a scam. Good job by everyone on getting the word out about this slimy operation.

got the same call from Brad when you call them they answer big lot and the ladies name was Judy.  99.00 non refundable to sell and 199.00 refundable less 20.00 they say they can guarantee 90 day sale.
